20:39 Reminds of the 2 ways to read the verse ״סור מרע ועשה טוב״ that one should “Turn away from evil and do good” At first glance the simple reading is that one must first stop doing evil, and only then can one let the good in. But there’s a more Hasidic reading that one is to “Turn away from evil” aka. not to pay any attention to it or try to stop it, rather one should focus on doing good, and the evil will fall away on its own.

I am a big believer into requesting help from the lineage spiritually speaking. And I didn’t know it at the time but when my qigong teacher taught I sensed two entities and I didn’t realize it until later but I think those were helping spirits for the lineage assisting him teach us how to heal. 5:59 interesting to think of the 70 as the deities of the nations! Isn’t that from Canaanite pantheon? probably further back 🤷 Thanks for that info so I can explore more.

isnt that why hashem had to get us out of mitzrayim first before giving us the torah because the klippah was too strong and sticky there while in Egypt. Do we learn from that to first "close the door " as you say, before the light can come in? Not so easy to do. Many find when surrounded by light, it is easier to close the door.
