What strumming pattern are you using?

I just usually strum to the songs original timing unless I'm doing a different iteration for example, a blues version or rock version, in this songs case, slow ringing strums for the verses and solo picking for the intro. 😃👍👍

Hey bud! I'm not the best at guitar tutorials unfortunately, I learned guitar self taught and took about 6 months to 1 year to master the basic chords. The best advice I can give is perhaps start with an electric guitar, as it's easier to get to grips with than acoustic, then I'm sure there is lots of basic chord tutorials on KZbin, once you've learned the basics, then you can move to acoustic, that's only if that's the direction you want to go, if electric guitar is best for you then go with it.
