I just played shamans again last night…it’s interesting and I like the flow and mechanics of it…I’ve seen that the shadow is usually favored to win the round..

I think the shamans have to have a LOT of communication to have a chance at winning the round

How many games did u play to come to the conclusion that the bad guys (almost) always win?

I really like the way this looks, but my brains starts to melt out my ears when I try to grasp trick taking games.

Can I ask a weird unrelated question? (cannot find a way to ask in a DM :P ) As someone who follows Judaism, are there any game themes or backgrounds that you cannot play or find uncomfortable? (obvious ones excluded) I recently had a catholic friend refuse to play eldersign because it was about demons and demi gods. Thought it was an interesting stand point and wondered if you have a similar experience? Sorry if this is a bad way to ask.

Religions aren't a monolith, so you can have a catholic friend who doesn't want to even entertain the concept of demons and demigods, while also have another catholic friend who loves board games. It generally not the religion that stops them; it's their particular interpretation of it that does. In any case, if your friend doesn't want to play, you should respect that and find somebody else.
