Thank you very much for your feedback and for following this channel. My gurus do not encourage learning with notations and they firmly believe in auditory learning. Even for varnams, Shashi sir never gives notations for the sahithyam. I follow the same style when teaching, neverthless, I do write out notations to verify if I am singing grammatically correct. In some past videos when I said the swarams and sang the sahithyam, my students were totally confused and learnt everything incorrectly. I too have found that auditory learning is easy for beginners, especially when they do not have swarasthana awareness. Even saralivarisais, I first teach it as sahithyam (ofcourse as guided by my guru as it is his idea) to help them learn the tune, as many cannot connect with swarams directly from my experience . However, if you share your email address, I will share the notations for the selected songs you are interested in.
