It’s wild seeing some of his fans act like Laura is some awful mean girl for her video when it only escalated to that point because he refused to take the video down when she asked him. She tried to handle it privately and was ignored so then it became public. Laura is also a public figure and doesn’t want rumors that she is cheating on her fiancé out there. That post made Shameik look cool for “bagging a baddie” but it made Laura look like a cheater. I kind of agree with Dee with him being socially awkward, but at the same time I'm wondering why Shameik chose to flirt with Hailee Steinfeld in those interviews in the first place instead of just trying to get with her in private. Also he had to of known she was getting married and already in a committed relationship. As for Laura Harrier, posting a video with the caption "coming soon" is pretty self explanatory of what he was trying to do and insinuate. He should have never posted the video on his socials. She she asked for him to take it down, he should have done so immediately and apologized. So this seems more like a common sense problem for Shameik and maybe he's just really horny and wants a girlfriend, that's fine. However, he's rich, young, and has his whole life ahead of him, so why did he not just date someone outside of Hollywood? Or at the very least if he did date someone in the limelight, chose someone who is single and maybe not extremely popular. Either way, you handle your business in private, not in front of the whole world to see. The internet can be unforgiving and cruel, but you can avoid the smoke by not being overly weird and awkward.
