i wish there were less naked scenes, and more of other meaningful scenes, like the ones with derek's mom. a part from the whole kidnapping franny, she looks like she cared for her and Debbie. those scenes gives her character, they made me like her, i dont understand why deleting them

I agree. From the way season 8 was going it seemed like they were gonna explore Derek fighting for custody but then it's never mentioned again in season 9 so my guess is they deleted these so people wouldn't expect too much about it in season 9. It still would've been very interesting to see and helped his mom seem more human like you said.
