As an Irish woman I love the similarities of having your life work around your kids and cooking from scratch ❤😊

Get the older kids involved in washing up and tidying. Unfortunately us Asians sometimes spoil our boys and they then grow up and expect to marry a women who will do it all for them. My two brothers found that hard- so get them involved from young x
@missmeow10222 жыл бұрын
So true, my 2 brothers are like that, my mum spoiled them so much and I was the one who had to do everything. So annoying 🙄
@tanesia84402 жыл бұрын
Same the girls did everything the boys diddnt even fetch them selves a drink and my mums white 🤣
@hbdbs2 жыл бұрын
Time to address it is when they are young. My older brother even blamed my mum and said because she spoilt him he didn’t know basic household skills. Teach them that being able to cook, clean and look after your home is everybody’s duty, not just sisters/mum!
@razamughal90952 жыл бұрын
@Not in use thats true, but I for one do teach my son to cook and clean. They need to know it for them selves and they need to learn cooking is a joy. KZbin is a blessing.
@zaynabdaniyal43162 жыл бұрын
@Not in use No it's not the worse thing, but I'm also a house wife and my husband is the one who provides for the family, I have 2 kids a girl and a boy and I teach them both equally to do chores and help around the house. It's a basic life skill, my husbands mum spoilt him and babied him a lot and he doesn't help around the house or much with the children, and I don't want the same to be passed onto my son. Because although it's not the worse thing, house hold chores and cooking are a basic life skill for our kids, and not just something we should put upon our daughters because they are girls and it's something "girls" should do. Our sons need to be taught not to be lazy too and learn these basic life skills, it will benefit them too. Not just that, but as a housewife it's not easy work either, I only have 2 kids but I'm telling you it's really hard to have to look after 3 other people before yourself with no help, so yes, teaching your kids not only benefits them and teaches them but it also makes sure every one contributes a little so it's not just all put onto one person in the house.

You make such delicious meals. Aren't any of your children picky eaters? Mine isn't but he doesn't like some things although I tell him that taste changes with time and in the past I didn't like some things I like now, so every now and then he willingly tries things he doesn't like. My sister has two and one is extremely picky eater, in the past he only ate white color things, lol 😊

She's a full time home maker that's what we do. Its traditional gender roles which work best for a functional family and society. I think it would be very unfair to have a husband work long hour shifts to protect, provide and support a family and also expect him to come home and cook and clean...
