I don't understand why people think Ranbir is some great actor. He is good but nowhere great. His dialogue delivery, accents, physicality all remains pretty much the same in all movies irrespective of the character. And most of his characters are where he doesn't know what to do and then fi ds his purpose. Except for Barfi, I find all his movies just OK (they're entertaining but I am not wowed). And look at Ranveer. Every character he plays, he puts everything. Physicality, dialogue delivery and everything changes. Just his last 2 movies - 83 and Jayeshbha Jordaar. In 83 his cricketing shots, his depiction of Kpil was spot on and as Jayesh look at him dancing, looked exactly like how a Gujju man would in real life. Nothing against st Ranbir. He's one of the better actors but I don't feel he's anywhere near the top of the heap as everyone including the industry people claim.

@Prashant Sharma Never did I say every movie needs to be great nor every actor. But when people claim he's a great actor and the best among the lot when he clearly isn't, is what I've mentioned that I don't agree with. Maybe read and comprehend before rushing to reply.

In fact same thing I feel about Ranveer. Same dialogue delivery in every movie. Sirf makeup change hota h. What Ranbir did in Barfi is very rare. Not many can do.

Shamahera’s problem is it’s screenplay which is NOT CAPTIVATING & UNINTERESTING. RRR, KGF are way more illogical BUT their screenplay is executed well and keeps the audience hooked that’s why they worked with masses.

I watched it and I forced myself to watch this movie only because of Sanjay dutt and Ranbir's performance. I agree Vani 's way of speaking clothes they looked so out of order for the period drama.. first 20-30 minutes was worth watching.. scenes with crows was made no logic..

I think Bollywood is in the verge of losing their charm. Movies are either biopics or period dramas and yes of course the remakes of South Movies. They don’t even bother to do a proper research before making a period drama. #shameshamesera

Itni bhi buri nhi hai jitna sab bol rhe hain. It did miss in emotional touch but still a good watch. Thugs of Hindostan was completely unwatchable visually as well as otherwise, but Shamshera is BEAUTIFUL technically and average in story & Screenplay

What you said about the bikini dance is exactly what I felt about that one dance in Thugs of Hindostan 1. 😂😂 Jokes aside though, that's not Katrina Kaif? Reprising her role as dancer-who-is-part-of-the-story-but-only-bc-she-costs-so-much? Vaani looks identical to her... I swear if I weren't Indian my opinion on Bollywood actresses these days would seem racist.

Ranbir Kapoor was good in the movie. VFX was decent and some shots were good but the whole Vani Kapoor thing was just plain nonsense. Should have made the movie more darker and grittier and should have removed certain stupid comedy elements. Average movie. One time watch, however nothing to rave about.

If you wanna go for historical accuracy women in India went out most of the time top less of with just one cloth covering their brests until the Muslims invaded where as afterwards to protect the women from the barbarism of the Muslim invaders they started to cover them up and started to keep them in home as a protective measure but in the south during that time things were still the same until aurangzeb abd ever then until the advent of the British rule things were more or less the same for Indian women as in South India the temperatures were much more hotter then in north so the south women were usually more free and were topless for most of the time even in public and it was quite normal in the north it stopped however after the sheer barbarism displayed by the Muslims during invasion and their rule

Ranbir Kapoor is a flop actor. Vo natural actor nhi hai, usne lee Strasbourg se acting seekhi hai. Last 9 years mein sirf 1-2 hit di hai usne. Vo sirf apne baap ki vajah se hai yahan. Usse to debut bhi SLB jaise bade director ne di thi.

i know shamshera is will be quite similar of "thugs of Hindostan". but Shan bro mene aapka RRR ka bhi review dekha tha aise hi stunts and visuals ko tumne larger than life bataya tha. but its ok shamshera se utna expectations bhi nahi tha. but tum kis movie style ko admire karte ho , its unable to understand.
