This song is LIFE. LOL I was just a little kid when it came out but my parents were cool as hell with great taste in music. I remember taking the record to school as my contribution to the playlist for Jump Rope for Heart, a charity event for heart health. It was originally released in 1982 so imagine this sweet 7 year old coming to school with this record. 🤣 Parents got a call that day! 🤷‍♀️

Growing up in a Jamaican household we always played Bob marley and any music related to him and the wailers. I remember this song came out after Bob died, and as kids we loved it. we played it all the time and had no idea they were talking about weed for years. "I want to get high, sooo high!" loved it.
