My friend and I always go to the pond in our neighborhood in the spring and summer, and a variety of toads and frogs live there. Once we went and there were hundreds of tadpoles :) it was a very serene sight and it was nice to see them thriving.

PleaseBee, you're a hero to your local wildlife as always. I'm sorry if you already got this suggestion before or it's no longer an issue, but have you considered buying Hypoaspis mites for your snails? They are predatory mites that only hunt parasitic mites and creatures smaller than them (like some smaller springtails, but probably not the helpful toktogi you've shown, they seem too big). They will not prevent worms, but preventing parasitic mites already does a lot.

It's lovely that you care about frogs, but... When you see frogs barely responsive like that, they are hibernating - reptiles and amphibians do this over winter, they actually benefit from this state of torpor. You should not handle frozen eggs or frogs in this state, because you will artificially raise their temperature causing them to hatch early or rousing them from sleep early, lowering their chances of survival in the wild - because once they are awake, they will look for food and there is none to find, resulting in them starving to death after wasting energy looking for food! Tadpoles that hatch too early are more at risk than frozen frogspawn, the slimy coating protects them as eggs, but as tadpoles sharp chill of water and ice will kill them. The mother and father of the eggs survived well for a long time WHERE THEY LAID THEM (and they survived for a reason there) - if you move them, you risk exposing them to pathogens (or spreading pathogens to other species) or give ease to predators. The best thing you can do is leave them alone because you can do more damage than good tampering with them. They have survived without human "help" for millions of years, they do not need it now.
