Marvellous series My favourite thg in this show is Shanes constant battle t drag Oliver into the 21st Century an the ocasional little sarcastic quips she makes t him about his being stuck in the 20th Century past but then reassures him by regularly whispering affectionately in his ear... *l know u Mr O'toole;* lts a gesture she shares ONLY with Oliver

I love how much fun they are having at the party dancing. Shane really takes Oliver out of his shell and helps him to “let down his hair”. Their smiles are priceless ❤️❤️

If looks could kill hey.? The icy glare Shane gives Oliver over his 'friend ' comment is just a sublime piece of humorous storytelling. Its like she's reduced a 6ft grown man t a 5yr old child; *Go t the naughty step little Oliver cos ur in big trouble now.*

Rick, the dancing sequences are terrific...Shane's longing for Oliver, transposing herself into the couple's dancing, knowing what she is missing with Oliver, brings her longing into clear focus...Hopefully, you'll do their first "official" date, at Montaldo's...Oliver, finally, commits to an "actual" date with Shane...Martha's "pacing" in the writing is a classic study in arc development...Best, Richard and Linda
