I hate being rude but, is that impressive? Remembering a story (albeit on TV). I usually don’t have trouble recalling events to this degree. I wonder if it is that people have lower attention spans nowadays. Then again, it’s not like it’s not possible. My highschool had a down syndrome boy named duncan. He was hilarious and very self aware so he knew teachers wouldn't reprimand him. Every now and then he would bust into one of our classes with no warning and everybody would cheer "DUNCAN!!" then he would hit on one of the girls in the front row as the teacher tried there best to usher him out. Sometimes they would be successful but forget to lock the door and he would pop back in a second later to the same round of cheers. Everybody loved duncan because he got us out of a lot of class work. We had quite a few teachers forget to give homework and admit it was because of him. Whenever he walked down the hallways he would have both hands up ready to high five everybody in the hall. We knew that the more we pumped him up, the more he would interrupt class and reduce our workload. He was legit the most popular guy in school haha.

I had a coke dealer who had down syndrome. First time he pulled up i did not believe he was the person i was there to see. I kept texting him asking him to describe his car more in more detail cuz i was under the impression that i didn't see him there even tho he said he was and i didn't want to ask him if he has down syndrome either. Finally had to walk up to the car i was so sure it wasn't him. The conversation started off really bizarre cuz i was dancing around the subject incase i had the wrong person. Last thing i wanted to do is ask a special needs person for drugs lol. They're such wholesome people.
