I disagree on the premise that there aren’t funny comedians on SNL My take is that Shane was already too good to waste time on SNL away from perfecting his standup. As a fan of him before he got picked, I thought it was an odd fit even though I was happy for him. Sketch artists should do SNL/Key&Peele. Stand up artists should focus on standup (the better of the two comedian lanes imo)

This is one of the funniest episodes of Tigerbelly I've seen. Shane is very understated and not over the top (like say, a Delia or Callen) but is incredibly funny.
