I watched this quite recently and I found it rather harrowing, i completely understand what Meadows was trying to say and I think he delivered a twisted, suspenseful and even sad tale of revenge and reflection, really flawless movie!

I saw this when it first came out and probably watched it a few times since. I dont think the trailer does the movie justice. It makes it appear a very low budget movie (even though it was) and gave me a B-Movie vibe. Paddy Considine and Gary Stretch portrayed their characters brilliantly. One of my favourite movies. Its deep, dark, disturbing, harrowing with a bit of humour and a brilliant twist .

It was shown on a mainstream British TV channel about 10 years ago. Don't think anyone has had the balls to put it on again since. It's not an easy watch, but very much worth perservering to the end. Gary Stretch has talents beyond his boxing career. I also enjoyed his performance in the film, 'The Heavy', in which amongst others, the cast included Christopher Lee.
