I’ve been following Shane and Shane since 97. They were only known in some parts of Texas most notably in college station. They had their own songs about Christ but always ended every concert with worship. Worship like no one else would worship. Before Chris Tomlin and Passion and Bethel they paved a way for worship that touched a whole generation. It blesses my heart (as Texan as I can say that) to know they are on a their own level of worship only God can understand. Thank you Shane. And thank you Shane. You both are doing amazing things in God’s name. Amen.

This is the first time I've heard these guys - incredible! I've listened to this video 3 times today. I love the voices, the harmony, the instrumentation, but the best of all is the adherence to Scripture. So many Christian songs and bands these days are off base, self centered, all love and no repentance. God bless this band!

What a blessing. This is worship to The One True God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and our Saviour Yahushua. He is looking for those to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. When this time of isolation ends we just can't go back to how things were. We need to step up, surrender totally to Him, cast all idols aside. He alone is worthy. We know now that this was a Government induced sickness. Many churches have shut down - and are gathering in Mega Churches that have no Accountability or have a DISCIPLESHIP Plan for God's people. It is so interesting that you said “like a hound of heaven” because I have been feeling like God has been speaking to me through our dog that we rescued a few months ago. I’ve been feeling like God sent the dog to my wife and I as way to call us into deeper rest and communion with him. I already was working a lot and the work load just picked up even more since COVID hit. I haven’t been around my wife and kids and taking care of the home like I need to be. So you saying HOUND OF HEAVEN, makes me wonder if indeed the dog was a purposeful placement more than random inconvenience.

Y'all, may I offer a gentle suggestion which I hope is not perceived as critical? Our small house church / fellowship uses your exceptional songs, whether S&S or Worship Initiative a lot. Often I must use an independent tuber so we have the lyrics. Holy Spirit frequently brings your worship videos to me. We so love Jesus, Father and Holy Spirit and want to engage but the lack of lyrics leaves folks disengaged observers. New folks to Jesus or former denominationals don't know the lyrics of new worship offerings. Whether you do or don't, your choice. Blessings mighty blessing be upon you and your families as Holy Spirit leads, guides and blesses His body through your gifts of voice, composition, instrument use and lyrics. Thank you.

Good question. I do believe God calls us to Himself. I take no credit for my own salvation. People argue about predestination and Calvinism, some say if we say we made a decision for God, we are taking credit and attribute it to our own good work. The Lutherans say even the very faith to believe comes from God. Yet if God wants that none should perish, why would he only give some the faith if we cannot make the decision on our own? I don't know the answers, but I do know He convicted me of my sin and drew me to Himself. Later I went astray, but the Holy Spirit was relentless. He also let me fall to a point where I was broken enough to rely on Him to overcome my sin. In this sense it was if He pursued me. Jesus came to SEEK the lost. Does the sheep seek the shepherd or the shepherd go out to find the lost sheep? see Luke 15:4

@@b_d_vn9651 In the '80's when I was a teen, the Lord blessed me with a 2nd hand Kramer 8 string bass guitar. I played in a Christian band and was ashamed because the "BA word" was molded into the bridge (the actual brand name of the bridge) and I worried someone would notice. But God gave me the instrument and I used it for His glory. We represented our Christian school at a Christian educators conference at a local church. They put us on first (to get it over with I later learned) and were horrified when i asked to set up next a power outlet for our "amplifiers" (that word horrified our host). Later I learned that we were the topic of their Sunday service as we were using "instruments of the devil" (bass and electric guitars) and the girls in our band wore men's clothes (blazers) and makeup...I saw no joy in these brothers and sisters in Christ. No grace when we apparently offended them with our music (Amazing Grace and He's Alive). Today I know a guy who has tattoos (even pentagrams) from his Satanic heavy metal days that God saved him out of, but he uses that as part of his testimony. Sometimes he slips up and uses course language, I've cringed when I heard him refer to our Father as a "BA" during a prayer, but I have grace on him as God has had grace on me, and like me he is a work in progress, and he is being used to reach out and introduce the Lord to people who would never listen to someone like me. He reminds me of Peter in his early ministry. Also, I needed to pull a log out of my own eye...Thank you B_d_v N for accepting the criticism with humility and grace. Some do not. My cousin married an abusive alcoholic years ago. They began going to church and he stopped drinking and beating her. One Sunday someone saw him light up a cigarette outside the church after the service and criticized him. They never went back, their marriage fell apart and I don't know what happened to him, I know he remarried and raised my cousin's daughter, My cousin never went back to church to this day and does not want to hear about my faith. We do need to correct one another in love, but also have grace. Am happy to see humility and forgiveness here with your response and his to yours. God bless! P.S. For what it's worth ,I never wore a hat when performing, it was the custom for a gentleman not to wear a hat indoors back then, and a shame for a man to pray with head covering per scripture, just my own conviction. I see a lot of hats on men these days, and seldom see a woman cover her head in prayer as instructed by Paul...grace....
