I have had the honor of meeting Shane a few times. He is a great gentleman on and off the tables!! Honestly I have met MANY of the top pros of pool. None of them have been RUDE or stand offish at all. Just knowing pool decorum goes a long way!!!

Shane doesn't really shoot the cue ball. He just tells the ball where to go and where to end up. I believe telekinetically.

Nah, he just puts in the table time you're not willing to do or serious enough to do. Some days he practices just the break shot over 6 hours. You would lost focus and not be that consistent, so you think he using telekinesis when it's just table time. 🤣🤣

I hustled pool in college and played about a ball underneath top players that were name brand players on TV. I stole from most I played against but can't imagine running into a player like Shane Van Boening playing off the rack casually...one of the greatest nine ball players of all time. A very good player can spot another excellent player very early on. Every once in a while I would spot someone who played my speed or better and didn't take me long to quit. What really separates players is using inside english. For example, I could beat this kid pretty easy because his position play is quite poor even though he may be considered an average room player. Shane is just amazing and all the greats are inconceivably good.

I'd probably be a Shane van choking fan...but I love watching the mosconi cups...he has the worst win / loss ratio ever in the history of the mosconi cup. Can't play under the pressure and he horrible playing with a partner. When things don't go his way ...he gives up! Walks with his hands in his pockets...like he giving up..one year he fell asleep in the crowd while his teammates were playing. Lol great players by himself, horrible player in the mosconi cup!!!
