Karl can play okay, but still not the caliber of the G.O.A.T. title for title, SVB. When people talk about Karl, they don't think "considered one of the best players of all time."... but that's on SVB Wikipedia page and everyone knows its true. Karl doesn't play much, if you look at his titles vs Shane, shane has like over 40 times as many titles

Yes, both shots required a thin cut with the object ball on the rail and so needed to hit the rail first to spin the object ball into the pocket but Shane's was at a more straight angle than Karl's. Shane hit the ball first and that is why he missed.
