I love Shane Van Boening. The best world pool player, humble guy. Mika is so arrogant.

WHAT!? You don’t know who Mika is? Around 2010 he was a top player in the world and in the same year he was named player of the decade so yeah, he’s a Hall of Famer and one of the all time greats.

At 29:00 Shane splits the corner pocket DEAD MIDDLE on the 6 ball and virtually perfect for the 7 which was automatic shape coming off of the 6 and Mika gestures with his left hand = "wtf??? Is Shane going to get every roll, what the hell is going on here???" Mika is clearly insane. Did he expect Shane to miss the 6 or have a theoretical chance of missing position for the 7? It doesn't help this bizarre scenario either when Shane now coming around the table to shoot the seven, LOOKS UP to his right as if to suggest he perhaps fell .621988⁰ short of intended shot angle for the 7 ....I mean I wouldn't put it past him vs perhaps simply looking up at the score and acknowledging he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to win or maybe a buddy's score who appears about ready to lose 2-11 or something.... What a strange scene that was/is. ...not to mention how fantastic Mika was piling up rack after rack and then FREE WHEELING the next 2 racks and the hill rack and theoretically not getting out as if the match was rightfully a foregone conclusion, in which, my calculations on these very difficult Diamond tournament tables literally put Shane when he now gets to the table without a open shot....as a 40/1 underdog on top of the fact that the way Shane played safe on the 5, he was literally air mailing the match home. He is sending the 5 too close to the bottom right corner pocket while coming across very delicately and effectively one single ball that in theory he has to land perfect because of the fact the five can land close enough to the side rail and theoretically close enough to the bottom right corner pocket to make even a rail first shot for Mika viably another possibility and basically proof that Shane put the mojo on the attempt and got there perfectly but any other reasonable circumstance especially let's say the finals hill hill at the US Open he wouldn't have played it that way without every other consideration to be measured first and even so I still think he would never play it cuz the risk vs reward factor still demands that just like Mika did, at the worst Shane was going to leave a very doable jump shot. I don't know what other safe he would have attempted for his life and I don't know what nationality Jesus was, all I know from what I saw, even at that level, with that wide of a margin in deficit, a pro doesn't have to navigate from there as if boy I better be extra careful because my opponent can effectively run 8 racks on me etc. One would think they should play that way no different than needing one ball in one pocket and your opponent needs eight or nine and therefore you as a rule of thumb should never do anything more than prevent defense. But that isn't the case here and therefore Mika wasn't doing anything reckless in spite of the fact he should have got out that final rack but nevertheless the fact that Shane stepped up without much thought or fear or conviction, chose a bad but immediate option because obviously, he has thrown in the proverbial towel which makes sense because energy management is very important. I don't think he was on the loser side or else I would imagine he would grind because why not? There is nothing more to conserve, now it's a matter of survival either win or go home and whatever happens.... Worry about that later. Interesting and great match but by rights I don't think there's anything to learn here other than the fact that if you have the opening to shut the door and vanquish your opponent then you should take appropriate measure and forget about whatever lead you have. Other than that, to play and worried in such a way of paranoid with an eight-game margin and you are on the hill, is apparently not a world champion type mindset. Hard to believe but they either know best especially considering the difficult equipment but either so, I don't see how in any case one should ever rest on their laurels or as they say it ain't over until the fat lady sings. I mean the last three viable racks to win the match, Mika clearly is swinging wildly for the fences and call it being in dead Punch or whatever....if it's such a devastating and crushing methodology and approach.... THEN WHY NOT ALWAYS COME OUT THE GATE WITH ALL THAT? He still needed 3 more games to win and my point is okay you have a lead advantage demanding it is fine to take offensive risks....but he wasn't carefully measuring it all out he was just going up there and firing hard at what he felt was a doable opportunity but I don't see how a score advantage now takes precedence over what should be approached carefully in a measured way because if the scores were different then you know Mika would not approach and execute it that way. Mika is in many ways, a cabbage head. I've seen him do things like that before the same way including a steamroller attack exactly the same way except more aggressive against a rank amateur who had no chance no matter what....Mika by rights and undoubtedly took it upon himself to crush the guy's soul. Shane no matter how big of a lead, never does that or tries to send a message and if anything just plays a little bit smoother and quicker because he is in dead punch like any pro will be with a 15-game lead and just having ran 7 racks and previously 6 racks won in a row with a minimal back and forth a few games of the 6 total etc etc.. Isn't it so ironic it happens to come back and bite Mika here what's the odds so effectively against it. It's so funny that it happens to happen to players like him where you question the universe and say is there some sort of power that makes Justice served this way and or perhaps the likelihood more so that a mindset like Mika...makes it happen and I say, YES.... This is true it is no accident or coincidence. And at the same time I don't sit here trying to laugh at him either, because I believe it is a trap mindset that indirectly means you are begging for it to. It's just merely something to observe and note and learn from.... The power of the mind being the receiver of the power of the universe, it's just a matter of particular frequencies and opening up the channel for communication and boom 💥...👁️⚡⚡😮 Well ... And there are some who will say there's no difference in result, you simply lost like any other set and all that counts is you played well and what can you do? And I say BULSHIT. You can pretend it however you want but nobody is going to BS me when I know for a fact and let's be real here, you just received a cosmic GUTT PUNCH. COSMIC GUT PUNNNCH ....I said back back HOMIE an catch a full clip! AN YO FAMILY GOAN RELLY FEEL IT MANE....
