I believe that Earl Strickland is a hall of fame pool commentary person. He is the right person at the right time, You need to hire him to do the play by play for any big time match or tournament. i have played for 50 years and been a professional pool instructor since 2007. Seriously! He's a tremendously accurate quick fire shooter. Looks like he lines absolutely everything up down to the smallest detail before he even gets down on the shot and then all he has to do is deliver the cue in about a second. Great talent.

Great commentary..This guy earl owns up to it when he guesses wrong which is very rarely. If the players choices were better, he give them credits and told exactly what they did to get there. If the players choices were worse, he told what not to do. ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I have been watching pool videos for years. This is the only time I can just finish watching one video and watch the same video like an hour later. I feel like I just die and went to pool heaven with Earl commentating. Keep them coming.

Magnificent commentary! In both of these videos with Earl commentating! I knew it was gonna be good, because personally I love it when actual players commentate (Mika, Thorsten, Jeremy Jones, Darren, Souquet, Van Den Berg, are all top notch commentators) but this, this was better than I could imagine! Love Earl’s commenting. Most of us would state a comment below when the person commenting tries to predict what the players are going to do and get it wrong. I don’t think Earl is wrong, the players are playing the wrong shot. It is hard to argue against Earl. Earl stays current on what is happening in today’s pool, he has played against most of the current big name pool players and Earl has multiple World Championships in different discipline in pool.
