Shane did more in two seasons that a bunch of other charaters in 5 seasons or more. He was a survivor while everyone were just humans trying to understand things. That, mixed with his crazyness led him to his death. One of my favourite characters forever, his appearance on season 9 is one of the top moments in the entire series for me.

he fucked up in the end, but he really wasn't the bad guy. rick and lori did him dirty, telling him he wouldn't get to be a father his kid and generally teaming up against him - her especially. at the end of the day, rick had to be more like shane than he ever thought he would in order to keep everyone safe. he was right and had the right mentality to survive. i really wish we could have seen more of him. also, VIDEO'S AMAZING!
