This is a relatively short video. Now, here's how you know that times are changing. The contrast between these two buses are incredible.
The original 746, a 1998 Orion V CNG, was once a part of Command Bus Lines, a private bus company that was once in operation in New York City. The MTA took over that company along with the others such as Green Bus Lines, Jamaica Buses Inc, Triboro Coach and the rest. This bus has been shifted around various areas. As you can see here, it was on a very rare appearance on the Q52 route. These buses are powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50G & Allison B-400R WTEC.
The current 746, a 2017 New Flyer XN40 "Xcelsior" CNG, is practically new to the MTA, and is rebranded with a whole new scheme. The technology in these buses allows them to be more quieter, and perform better. I know a lot of buffs don't like how quiet these are, but hell, I like them. These are replacing the older generation Orion VII CNGs. These buses are powered by a Cummins ISL-G engine with a ZF Ecolife 6AP1400B transmission.

At least 746 lived long enough (and was fortunate enough) to see a bit of Q52 service. (Also, it was hilariously in front of a successor model running on the route the Q52 was split off from.)
