Thank you for reacting to For King and Country! If you want to see more from them they have live room sessions of their songs Run Wild, Dreamers, Shoulders, Fix My Eyes, and No Turning Back! I’ve been a fan of them for years and every time I see them live it is always very powerful.

I LOVE THIS VERSION! The energy is so great! This is one of my favourites to play around Christmas. If you're interested in listening to another epic Christmas song, please react to Dan Vasc's Adeste Fideles (Oh Come All Ye Faithful). It's sooo good as well. I love your reactions, keep them coming!

Thank you, Kazemi, for requesting this video, and thank you, Shane, for reacting to it! GREAT JOB, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Since you haven't seen their stuff before, I thought I'd give you some leads on who's doing what, because now I'M going to be requesting some . 😀 The Smallbone family (who are all very strong Christians) lives in Nashville, TN, and they are a LOT larger than the two men from it, who lead this band. They have a new movie ABOUT their amazing family (called "Unsung Heroes") that is opening in theaters worldwide, on April 26, 2024. One of the other family members whom you might recognize by name, is Rebecca St. James (that's her stage name). She became famous as a teenager, when the family still lived in Australia. My favorite song from her (she's now married, with three children, by the way), in recent years, is one that she sang with Brandon Lake. It's called "The Battle is the Lord's," and it's just fantastic. - - - - - - - - - - I'm sending an e-mail to you, to officially ask for a reaction to Rebecca's song that I mentioned above. There are two versions. You could pick one or the other, or both, since they are quite different in presentation...both very strong and beautiful. In the coming months, I'll start picking some of my very favorite, OTHER FK&C videos to request reactions, since they almost ALWAYS feature some pretty heavy drumming. In my e-mail, I'm also including the link to my "Songs of Hope and Joy" Playlist, that is under my "Grandma's Gone Gaming" channel's auspice. It's approaching 1000 music videos. The top song in the list (which will ALWAYS remain there at the top) is one of theirs. I think you'll really enjoy it. - - - - - - - - - - For King and Country was started by the two of Rebecca's brothers who traveled with her, when she was in her early years of singing professionally. Those brothers are Luke and Joel Smallbone. The other Smallbone brothers are also involved in their ministry and tours (doing most of the background things, and keeping everything going), plus there are the other (non-family) men that you see in this video, in the band. For THIS song (which was the first one I ever saw presented by them, also), there are quite a few other versions they've done, in several different manners. Luke is the first brother you see in this video, with his drum. Joel (who is the oldest brother) enters at 1:35. Both of them are accomplished drummers, and you'll see them in plenty of other videos playing all sorts of different drums and other instruments. The whole family is EXTREMELY musical. At 1:42, Joel moves down to the big bass drum. At 1:55 he has moved to that interesting instrument with the squeezebox. I had never seen that before I saw this video for the first time. I still don't know what it's called. Joel is the baritone/low tenor, and Luke (though he can sing in that range, also) usually sings high tenor, on up into the soprano range--SERIOUSLY! I was waiting excitedly for you to come to 3:00. I KNEW you were going to love that entry into the next part, and you didn't disappoint. 😀 I figured, by the time we hit 4:00, that you would "know the drill"...when the word "DRUM" is said...TAKE ACTION!!! ...and there they went again, at 5:10! 😀 For Christmas 2021, they were very limited on what they could do, due to all of the you-know-what stuff. They did a TERRIFIC live presentation for us all to catch online, though. Then in 2022, they incorporated the Drummer Boy into a video presentation they made that also brought others of their videos in, and Luke's oldest boy got to be "The Little Drummer Boy." This past Christmas, that not-so-little-drummer-boy got to TOUR with them, and in this same setup you saw here, HE played the big drum solos that Luke did, here. Just seeing how the music has flowed down through their family, by following them on KZbin, has been fantastic. I'm hoping to get to go to the movie when it opens in a couple of weeks. We've been seeing teasers for nearly two years, now! It's not their FIRST movie, by the way. You can find out more about other movies they've made, by checking into their channel. Again...THANK YOU for this reaction! 😀
