Napom had the opportunity to take it with his 2nd round counter, but didn’t have a strong enough ending to carry it off.

what absolute bs. his first round is as complex as a gbb 2018 round, a beginner could do that round. and his 2nd round counter wasnt that good. he was only being backed up by his powerful bass. river definitely won

@@johngeo5816 I was explaining how River won. Judges voted 2-3 though, it was close and if you don’t think a stronger ending from Napom would’ve swayed one, I think you’re not thinking clearly.

@@YnEoS10 in what world did anyone think napom won. His first round was so simple and easy to do. The only thing carrying him was the power of his liprolls. And his counter only brought hype at that specific moment cause it happened quick. Napoms rounds were all to simple and easy to do. It's like listening to gbb 2018 rounds

@@johngeo5816 in this world where two judges voted for him and plenty of fans thought he won. I’m a River fan, strongly prefer his style and thought he deserved the win, but let’s use common sense here. Do you think D-low said that River is better, but he just voted for Napom because he a corrupt judge who doesn’t vote for the best beatboxer all the time? Re-watch it and I’ll think you’ll see he said River did better within certain criteria and Napom did better in others and he preferred Napom overall. If you think the criteria should be changed that’s fine, but don’t act like that’s how everyone else sees battles. As a River fan it’s pretty embarrassing to see other fans make it look like we’re all delusional and have to ignore reality in order to appreciate his hard earned win against strong opponents.

The battle was super close, imo the judges were right on this one. I think Napom's second round lost him points towards the end, the time to tell the jokes was kinda awkward for me. Nevertheless the level was really high, specially for the finals, where most people have already used their strongest rounds to get through their other opponents and reach the final
