Hi Shane, I am a bit stiff on my knees so when I’m surfskating inner thighs get sore quickly, do you do some kind of warmup ? If so could you upload a short video please ? Cheers from France

Much appreciated, brilliant video, thank you. I'm just starting to explore the surf skate to help my surfing, do you find this sort of training transfers well to surfing (assuming you surf...), thanks

Hi Shane, could you please make a video tutorial for slide360? I've been stuck with slide180+pivot180 for months and was not able to get the fluidity of slide360. I wonder if you could make such a video and I'll be super grateful. Thank you as always!

Great tut as always mate. Where I’m getting confused is where you’re weight is. Front foot all the time so the back slides more easily?
@shanelai25152 жыл бұрын
When the back wheels are sliding, I'm kinda weightless/or my weight is on the way towards the front foot
@StevieMacVFX2 жыл бұрын
@@shanelai2515 so do you hop/jump just after begging to slide? I did notice at one point, as the back slid round, you had air under the back foot.

Merci.
@shanelai25152 жыл бұрын

I'm running C7's but I notice it's a little harder to carve. Should I loosen the up more? Eventually I want to build up to doing bowls and riding the pump tracks. I'm just not sure if I'm using the right trucks. This is the first Surfskate I own.
@petebuckney2 жыл бұрын
@@PonceRacing C7s often seem to come very tight out of the box. New people join our group wondering why they can't turn and pump like everyone else - we adjust their C7s until they feel right and they're flying! It's the little bolt on the back of the front truck - the one that's nearly touching the board - a normal skate tool will fit it. Loosen it half a turn at a time, ride it and see how it feels, and then adjust again. Keep going until you get to where it's just as bit too loose for your comfort, and tighten half a turn until it's just right. After a few weeks do this again, because as you get better you'll probably be more comfortable with it a bit looser:-)
