This is actually a decent phone. I see people complaining about the bezels and processor, but honestly, the avaerage consume doesnt care about that stuff. It's just a great smartphone at a fair price. Also, them adding mmWave is pretty cool.

I'm actually a little bummed the screen size increased. I may be in the minority here, but I'm more fond of the smaller models, and don't necessarily need high end performance. I liked that the fe maintained a small size throughout its short history, but nevertheless, it is a nice looking phone. Also so glad Samsung dropped the rounded edges!

If you want to speed up the fingerprint unlock, shut off the unlock animation. It's an old trick that works. My s21 fe unlocks just as fast as that s24+

Exynos 2400 e is just underclocked 2400 which came in s24 plus and s24 international version ie except us hong kong and china this 2400 trades blows with 8gen3 and 2400 e is just the performance core of 2400 slighty underclocked from 3.2 to 3.1 ghz so yeah fe chews midrange phones in terms of raw power

I was thinking about moving up to the S24+, from my S22 Ultra. I know "up" isn't actually appropriate verbage, but I am finding that I don't use all of the fancy features on the Ultra. And, I am no spring chicken and I find that I am having a very hard time holding my Ultra comfortably. When I saw the FE and found out that it has the same screen size as the 24+, I am going to be watching videos today to see if there are many differences between the two S24s I'm considering. I definitely would love the price point of the FE over that of the plus, but battery life is a concern for me. So,cI'm off to watch more videos, and perhaps get a few opinions from others who have used the phone for more than a day. Thanks for the introduction.

This phone can actually be bought for less than 500 bucks in my country during pre-order with trade-in rebate and member discount code. It's even cheaper than the A55 when it was released. If you're an A series user looking to upgrade to an S series phone, I highly recommend this one. The new Exynos chip is way better than the last generation Exynos chip. You'll get almost the same experience as the S series, including Dex, AI, and performance.

I'd probably get the A55 as the FE doesn't offer much more or if i was going get an upgrade model I'd probably get an S series for the finger print sensor as the slower recognition annoys me the most of the lower features. They should have kept the A55 and got rid of the FE. Also wish they kept the 3.5 mm jack as that would have been the decider.
