Shanghai Astrophotographer BINGBING,EM31Pro user,Completes Messier 110 Challenge in 15 Months.

Admirable Persistence and Captivating Passion--Bingbing, a photography enthusiast, has explored various genres including landscapes, architecture, portraits, flowers, and macro photography. However, it was the night sky that truly captivated him. In February 2023, Bingbing opted for the lightweight EM31pro harmonic equatorial mount, embarking on a deep-sky photography journey.
In March 2023, Bingbing captured his first Messier object, the Dumbbell Nebula (M27), in Shanghai. Following that, he photographed the second, then the third, and continued his quest. Over the next 15 months, leading up to June this year, just before the rainy season in Shanghai, Bingbing successfully completed photographing all 110 celestial objects in the Messier catalog. Salute!!

Chongming Dongtan: All other targets

Sony A7M3 and a modified A7
(Over half of the targets were photographed with the 127SLT, while most galaxies were captured with the C8HD.)
Shooting Method:
Outdoor on-site shooting (no rooftop shooting)
Exposure Time: Star clusters: around 30 minutes; Nebulae and galaxies: 1-3 hours
