Arhat and Bodhisattvas are different Anayle. Arhat is also known as 'foe destroyer' or Da Chompa while Bodhisattva is Changchup Semba. An individual who is free from the suffering or the samsara, who has got rid of the gross mental obscuration ཉོན་བསྒྲིབས་ which root cause is 'the self grasping ignorance' བདག་འཛིན་མརིག་པ། through renunciation ངེས་བྱུང་། An individual who has got rid of gross as well as subtle mental obscuration ཤེས་བསྒྲིབས་ which root cause are the active seeds of the gross mental obscuration and self cherishing attitude རང་བཅེས་འཛིན་ through renunciation + Bodhicitta བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་བསེམ།
