No matter how many times it has been mentioned, it still seems exist only in illusion - that is Daocheng Yading, known to us as "the last Shangri-la". With an elevation of 3740 m, Daocheng locates in southeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, and is under the administration of Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan province, with about 95 percent of the population of 25,000 being ethnic Tibetan.
