This chap is a complete professional. His steadycam use gives the magical effect of floating through the rooms. Also he avoids catching himself reflected in the scores of mirrors perfectly. He has obviously been commissioned by the Holel for this purpose. excellent. What a wonderful Hotel.

My wife and I had lunch there in 2019. Next time in paris might stay there... although the four seasons and the Ritz look amazing as well. So many good choices in paris!

Thank you for this incredible tour, with history, behind the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. It is truly a spectacular Hotel with wonderful and beautifully decorated rooms, luxurious amenities, restaurants, food, spa and views! With the beautiful music, I truly felt transformed to a different place for 32 minutes and 40 seconds. I didn’t want it to end. Thank you again for providing such an amazing experience for the rest of us to enjoy!

Gorgeous!!!!! Love the location!!!!! Service is indeed of the best! We did not know where to go for dinner and asked assistance and asked for references. The concierge was amazing! They referred us to the most delicious dinners and restaurants.

You have a hard time looking for the Tuileries Palace (mentioned at 3:13). It was burned down by the communards in 1871 and its remains were later razed. The garden still exists as a public park.

Beautiful hotel--I can't imagine how fabulous it must have been to live there like Prince Bonaparte. Can't beat the view from your room! What--no oeuf bene in Paris? Btw, I always appreciate the work you put into your captions. Since I always rent an apartment when I'm in Paris, the only time I've visited hotels is to have a drink in the bar--the Ritz was very nice :) Thanks for the visit to my favorite city!

They actually have some rooms that are affordable - no view of the Eiffel tower, but staying in that hotel is certainly worth it. I'll have to consider this place when I go.

The Eiffel-tower is highly overrated, I never understood the hype, but the garden, look at that garden, it's like heaven on earth, right in the middle of Paris -- that would be a view never forgotten ☺

Gorgeous hotel and location. I was fortunate enough to take tea and dinner at Shang Palace, Singapore, and it remains in my top five dining experiences. The French version looks just as dramatic, an 'event' rather than just dinner. The amount of greenery and garden space is surprising for such an inner-city location.

The bubbles of chilled Veuve Clicquot dance with joy on my lips as I awe at the Tour Eiffel. Moving like a feather in a breeze into Chi Spa as relaxation memorises me into floating in the lush waters. With the setting sun over the city of romance, I glisten like the Tour de Eiffel enthralled by the history of family Bonaparte that lingers in each corner.
