Absolutely spectacular. So exciting to see Shangri-la. I have always loved the idea of Shangri-la since watching the movie "Lost Horizon" over 60 years ago. Your vlog was so interesting and informative. Just wonderful.

Thank you very much for sharing your journey. It helps me plan my itinerary and hotel stays too. I hope the dog managed to sell the 3 rooms that day! I noticed that some hotels are located within the old town, like Huawushuang Garden Homestay in Lijiang. Are vehicles allowed to go in or are you expected to drop off at the perimeter and have to walk in all the way with luggage?

@@jamest3969 Hi! Regarding the old town in Li Jiang, no cars are allowed to get in. You can only get dropped off at the perimeter of the old town and walk in with your luggage. However, some hostels/inns may send people to help you with your luggage so you need to call them beforehand if you need help. 😁
