A little girl on my school bus introduced me to Shania Twain years ago. She had a cassette tape ( yes, I said cassette tape) and asked if I would play it on the bus. We all enjoyed the music and I’ve been listening, dancing and exercising to to it ever since. 🙂

Don’t forget Robert Palmer first made a video with his song “ Addicted to Love” that showed women in the band who looked very much alike, dressed in very short dresses, made up with lots of makeup so women got mad at being so sexualized after we’d just spent years getting better equality for women ( as much as we could) , better working conditions where we didn’t have to put up with getting grabbed , forced to put out or raped to have decent jobs. Anyway, I won’t get started on that.🫣 Someone else did one of men getting wet in Speedos while she walked through them but eventually her song got killed so Shania did her “I Feel Like a Woman” one as a female response to him of sorts. It’s cool that her song is still so popular but few remember his. 🤣😂🤣🥰 Go Girl Shania❤️
