We need to see more mature bodies celebrated in culture. I grew up with older celebrities like Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch still in the media and still in the cultural conversation. Shania’s resurgence is a renaissance of that and they were still very stylish and sexy well into their 60’s and beyond. We all need a reminder not to shrink away from living bright just because you’re ageing. Fair play to Shania🙌🏾

It feels like she is a whole new woman now. She's so open, willing to share her life, and it really just seems like she's so genuinely happy! If you compare her interviews from the last 5 years to how she did interviews back in the 90s/early 2000s (Up! era), those interviews back then felt like she was holding back, or being very careful what to say or not say. I really enjoy her free spirit she has now! It's so great and relatable!

I've loved her since her "What made you say that" days. So glad she's overcome so much and pushed through the hard times in her life. I love how she's talking about "menopause" and the changes her body is going through and sharing that openly with the rest of us women who are also going through menopause. Wow.. Shania went through a lot. I am glad she's sharing this. I am glad she's opening up. It makes sense why she came back and why she created Queen of Me, it was like her inner child that never got to express how she really felt throughout the years is coming out now. She had an open surgery, that is a lot! Shania is holding a lot of courage that she doesn't know she has. I am so glad she found Fred and found safety in him to be the who she is and still be loved and heard. This goes on to show that it is okay to feel that you have insecurities and there is never a deadline to embrace all that you are. Shania literally explained the reasons she chosen the cover of her new album and this era, this new discovery of Shania is a new level of every element to self love. This entire special is powerful.

Beautiful then, stunning. Beautiful now. Icon forever. When she came along there was no one like her in country music…she brought a new edge, sexiness (with class), that rock influence added in Mutt’s arrangements…changed the scene forever. And of course all the fantastic songs. I think of her as a songwriter first. I know she favors, and so does the crowd, her spectacular BIG shows…but an acoustic, intimate show of her playing & telling stories along with her songs, as other artists do from time to time, would be great. Glad she’s still around…for a while it looked like she’d retired. I think it’s ultimately hard to leave the spotlight for most.

Shania is the best! I love to sing, but barely if at all can sing cause I have a very rare condition called Subglottic Stenosis(narrowing airway)and after each surgery I can sing less and less. So I understand kinda what she went through
