Questions: How long in between braids do you wear your natural hair? I noticed you wear braids a lot but your hair remain healthy. Do you think the growth is promoted because of the cleansing of the scalp during the protective style? Lastly, how often do you cleanse your scalp while in braids? Because of you I washed my braids for the very first time in my life today.

I usually get braids once during the summer. The time between braids are a few months. I have gotten them back to back one time but I wouldn’t recommend doing that. I think a clean scalp is important. I’m not sure if it affects the growth to be honest. I shampoo my scalp every single week when I have braids .
