One query- can we use Microcap250 stocks as given by NSE and run our technical scanners (such as RSI based, macd based etc) instead of selecting the way you explained? As per my understanding, NSE must have used equivalent level logic for coming up with this list of 250 stocks.

They can. Small cap definition is companies whose mcap ranking is 251 and more.

@@shankarnath thanks for reply even being so bussy, isnt there some confusion (after motilal oswal bringing Microcap index fund) - my Question 1 is - What is mandate for small cap funds is it to invest in 251st to 500th company or any company after 251. Question 2 - As per sebi classification for mutual funds from 251st company to any company below that, is small cap. But now when Micro-cap index is in place (Which i feel is force fitted) they are considering 501 to 750th company as micro-cap. Ideally shall they not place micro cap after 1000th company so that for small cap leaving room of 500 companies. Lastly If I have small cap fund how much is it restricted to invest in 251st to 500th company and how much can it deploy towards micro-cap stocks.

I haven't come across any notification to that effect. 3. This will depend from scheme to scheme. You'll have to check the presentation of the smallcap scheme you are holding

Suppose me as a investor who wants to start investing in microcaps from Sept 2023 I would apply the screening filter and will get the stocks which have performed in the last five year i.e 2019-2023 and have super CAGR of 36% in the same time period.Correct me if i am wrong , When filtering are you considering the performance of these companies from 2014-2019 and than getting a backtest CAGR of 36%?. and if not how would one should use this strategy in real life. Hello. In this case, I have not done a forward-testing (unlike the video on monopolies where I assumed I was sitting in 2018 but that data compilation took me many hours) and this is back-testing. If keen, please try the same using 2019 data .. I'm certain you'll find even better insights. And appreciate if you can share the results with me aswell, maybe this can be converted into a follow-up video.

If am not wrong, It would be better always to pump in microcap 250 whenever nifty is 52w low and book profit whenever nifty is 52h

May I suggest you try this out with actual data. It's not as easy as it sounds because: a) even if one hits the then-52w low on a date, there is always a decent chance of it going down further, b) what does one do with the money after redeeming and c) my favourite argument is that today's 52 week high can also be a 52 week low within an year.
