Well, your like 99% right, depending on the sub you watched when this was originally fan subbed and released, Haki was also translated as 'Ambition'. I think that's as much as they need to know, they can infer the rest from that word alone.

dude you really dont know japanese do you? haki is not a one piece only thing. in japanese haki literally means ambition or aspiration. its not a one piece word. so when this was first mentioned, people weren't confused because it actually makes sense. but oda expanded on that and made it a power system.

@@thenmresquad7507 Oda is bad post ts, but that one is on toei...they add so much unnecessary scenes for Sanji, it's ridiculous. They have been doing it since pre ts, but since the anime pacing got so bad in post ts, it got worse, they add or extend perv scenes for him all the time. SPOILER I don't even care that much about the barking, though it's dumb, but why the hell did they make up a scene of him trying to go into the changing room with the girls?? And let's not talk about that crazy long nosebleed scene in WCI. Manga wise his gag was toned down again at a point but you wouldn't know by just watching the anime.

Real important infos was in this second episode, the sequence between these 2 Yonko (Emperors) is really important to link many things. For example, the Haki , you just gonna learn the name and a little bit how it works. You can make the link when Shanks look seriously the Sea Monster when he wanted to save Luffy. You gonna learn more later. It's some kind a "Aura" (here in this episode) that is so strong than if you're not strong mentally, you pass out.

When Aqua Laguna was explained they mention that it’s also causing the entire island to slowly sink. So he’s trying to stop that by finding a way to make the island float.

U guys talk so much in the middle of important details and after 100 episodes when the topic comeback u both are so clueless about it. All i can say is enjoy One piece to its every detail. U will really appreciate Oda’s work As a complete One piece fan i find this kind of casual reaction for views very offensive. Even in this reaction u missed so many details. Take it as a constructive criticism and try to avoid long talks in the middle of episodes. I have seen many reactors all of them do their lengthy discussion after the end of episode. I know i sound stupid but watching one piece so casually really gets on my nerves. He almost lost the detail that buggy and ace were on rogers ship and there are countless such example. Anyways stay blessed❤
