Not sure why you would stream a CD when you can rip the CD to any one of the Shanling DAPS or Desktop Devices.

Probably because that's a ton of work, and some people just want to listen to an album at a time without having to fiddle around navigating through 100 albums on a USB stick or music player, etc.
