Sweet girl....I feel if I had ever met her, we would have gotten along. She wasn't fake, she just had a lot of hard lessons thrown her way but wow did she learn those lessons. I don't like fake people so Shannen and I had that in common. Also, when people are jealous, you could be the most wonderful person, flawless, etc., but haters will find multiple ways to hate. It was amazing to see her receive the long-awaited vindication from her notorious reputation in her final years. I have been binge-watching her podcast, Let's Be Clear, for the past month. Some episodes have left me teary eyed. She fought and fought until the bitter end. Her contributions in the entertainment industry and popular culture will forever be remembered. With Shannon And the rest of the gang. My friends and would discuss what is going to happen next and we couldn’t wait to watch 90210 the next week episode to find out what happened. It was a time with no social media or anything. No cellphones. Now I can’t even imagine not having a cellphone for protection And to stay in contact with family and friends. We used phone booths back then that was kind of cool really. Makes me want to watch 90210 all over again!!!

Talk with the SAG-AFTRA Union they will tell you the absolute truth. They can't just fire someone based on what another actor says. They have to do an investigation. It is a very strong Union. She was against the producers of Charmed casting Alyssa (who was not in the Pilot). And when they didn't listen she tried to remove Alyssa first; but it backfired. I understand she wanted to leave this world loved. And we all do love her. But it just wasn't the way she said. And that's OK. But because people hate Alyssa, everyone just believed Shannen about her and Jenny. And it's not fair to them. They weren't going to start disagreeing with a woman suffering from Cancer. So they couldn't even defend themselves. And she forgot to mention she slept with Melissa Gilbert's husband on Little House. Why did she leave that out? We all do things we regret but we can't just blame people on our death bed and leave them holding the bag.

The Irish also have high cheekbones and Shannen is Irish through and through and so is Holly Marie Combs, and Rose McGowan as Page. Shannen was extremely talented and beautiful. What most people seem to forget is that young people or most young people like to party at the age Shannen was when she played Brenda in 90210. With Charmed I think it was some sort of a rivalry between Shannen and Phoebe, both being childhood stars and all. I guess Phoebe won. Phoebe got all of the good parts on Charmed after Shannen was let go. You might as well called it "Phoebe's Charmed" after Shannen left. With a very heavy heart, I say fly high Shannen, and know that your fans love you and miss you. ❤️ 😢

Shannen was that girl. She was real, tough, raw and unapologetically herself. She was basically like her character Brenda. She stood on her own ten toes and wasn't a follower because she refused to follow the masses. I respected and related to her because of it. It could be an Aries thing because we are so misunderstood and because we're firey natural born leaders were often viewed as mean lol. But while it was popular to h8 on her I refused because I saw her genuineness. Her death hurt but I saw it coming. I loved the way she lived her last days. RIP Shannen and Luke. Brylan forever ♥️

Shannen was such an inspiration to me when I was figuring out who I was as a teen. To find out she was treated so poorly when leaving Charmed solidifies those feeling for me. This was just a few years before her breakout role as Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210. 53 is too soon. But, I applaud Shannen for fighting until the very end. She was great in Charmed. But I'm confused. If we all know Hollywood actors are faulty, why is it that wherever she went it was the same narrative of butting heads and being difficult on set? We didn't hear that with all the other faulty actors. I believe 100% she was a rough person to be around. Her trail of broken bridges says that. We need to stop re-painting a pictures just because someone dies. With that being said, I also believe 100% she was trying to right herself when she realized her health was seriously challenged. But I think if we all dig deep, we can truly relate to her, because how many of us wish we could change the past and erase our mistakes from our younger years? Oh the dumb things we do in our youth. For celebrities, it’s amplified. Us ordinary folk are fortunate that we aren’t under a microscope. It doesn’t matter that cancer is what ‘changed her’ so to speak, because if it wasn’t that, it would have been something else in life, as it inevitably is for all decent human beings who walk the earth. And she clearly was a good person; a life-changing, catastrophic prognosis like that does not always change people for the good.

I Felt drawn to her in the last 6 months. I put it off until around 3 months ago , I saved her podcast library to go through, listen and catch up. I finally started the podcast last week, few days before her death. As I listen to the episodes and ‘know’ there’s an end, her words mean so much more. She wanted to live and loved life deeply. Hearing about Shannen's passing breaks my heart 💔 more than I thought it would. I have watched reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 and Brenda was always my favorite character out of the entire cast. I am glad that Shannen left when she did: Especially w/ the fact the producers wanted to have the Brenda/Dylan/Kelly love triangle for the entire series. Honestly, I would have done the same thing; because I would have hated the constant love triangle for a DECADE. the television show got awful after her leaving & not just because Brenda is my favorite character but the plot too. yikes. I know that she has passed and in Heaven, I am listening to her podcast and honestly I am glad that she did it. Because she got to speak her truth and be vulnerable with those that she loved and cared about. She is an Aries baby like me and my mom is only 5 days older than her. I wish I got to meet her physically, but I know that I will be with her Heaven. She is finally reunited with her father. no more pain, no more suffering I have only seen an episode of Charmed, but since then I have seen clips of the television show. Here are my thoughts about her: she was misunderstood by so many people: her peers, and the public alike. I think that was grieving w/ out realizing it. I know that she has deep love and admiration for her father and he was very sick for a long time. also during that time, Michael Landon had passed away and I know for what she has said that he has meant a lot to her. I mean he changed her life w/ bringing her on to Little House on the Prairie and I believe that he passed in the 90's. Grieve does A LOT to someone. I am NOT saying that grieve made her do EVERYTHING, I am saying that sometimes you do things you normally do not do. ALSO: Shannen was :( STRONG, and people do NOT like strong, confident women. she was independent and did NOT let anyone tear her down.
