Jalen Hurts has 29 Total TD's, 3068 total yards, 5 total turnovers and they are 11-2 . The Eagles are playing winning football. Yes, Hurts can take riskier throws, but why? What is the point when you win while controlling the clock and the ball? Sirianni and Howie Roseman need to sit AJ and Smitty down and straight up say "We made you two the highest paid WR tandem because we understand your value. You are incredibly important on opening this up. What is more important to you, Winning or individual stats?"

AJ Brown is an alpha WR1 who should be in contention as a top 3-5 WR in the NFL every year. Miss me with all this "team" talk. He happy they winning but not throwing at all is a recipe for disaster come post season. Overly relying on the run has analytically proven to be ineffective in the playoffs. AJ is a dawg & needs to get the rock- how he doesnt get 6-8 targets every week is an absolute joke and I dont blame him one bit for being miffed. Jalen largely looks like a deer in the headlights on any pressure & cant accurately throw- issues dating back to 2023.

BG is just a smoke screen. If you listened to Jalen Hurts press conference on Sunday he was asked 👇🏾 Reporter - "Jalen, you guys have a lot of talented players on offense DeVonta, AJ, Saquon. As a quarterback in a game like this how do you manage like making sure AJ feels like he’s getting enough, DeVonta, and obviously Saquon?" Jalen - "You know I play my role in it in how we execute, but ultimately it’s about what position we put ourselves in. It’s not my choice." That tells me everything I need to know. Their frustration and tension is with the offense (not each other). You have to sort through all of the bs. Who is responsible for the offense? Sirianni and Moore. The one constant in this equation is Nick Sirianni. He is the weak link, but nobody cares because they are winning.

Shannon said it best at the end, “you can ruin things by being too truthful. Sometimes it is best to keep it in house”. Exactly at the end of the day, keep your mouth shut and be a professional. We all have jobs and sometimes if it doesn’t go according to plan. We move on and work another day. Can’t complain about every single thing and expect things to stay the same. @Shaz1973 3 күн бұрын
People say Hurts is gun-shy? Maybe he is doing what he is being coached to do. I can definitely imagine the coaches saying, “don’t put the ball at risk. Spread the ball around.” But with only 20/21 passing attempts, every pass is a premium. He completed 14/21. That’s 67%. If he completed just two more of those passes that’s 76%! That’s higher than the highest season completion percentage in NFL History. The funny thing is he would probably have a higher completion percentage and many more yards if he force fed the ball to AJ and Smitty. BUT he would also have more INTs. We have a formula for winning. Can it be tweaked? Sure! But we aren’t going to start throwing the ball 30 times a game or higher. What we really need is a better script for the first 15 plays. We called two QB runs in a row that went nowhere. Maybe if we got AJ and Smitty involved early by scheming them open we would not have these issues. But we have time to figure it out. Not a lot, but we do have time. (But maybe the coaches want to keep it vanilla until the playoffs?)

@matthewdigiacomo2580
@matthewdigiacomo2580 3 күн бұрын
Top 3 Talent? Maybe on his own team. Otherwise, he might not even be Top 5 for receivers. I would absolutely take Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb and Jamar Chase over him. And the way this season is going ... Garrett Wilson, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Terry McLaughlin might just make the case to move ahead of him. I like AJ, and a lot has to do with Hurts not trying to make the more difficult pass. But AJ has not really gotten open like he did the last two seasons when he climbed the ladder into that upper tier of receivers. Are teams covering him better? I'm sure they are. But I also don't see that same fire now that he signed the big extension.

@ you just showed the world you don’t really know ball. Anybody with eyes and knowledge of the game knows AJ Brown is never not open 1 on 1, and even when he’s double covered, there are countless examples of poor concepts or poor qb decision making that causes Brown to not get the ball. Also nowhere did I say his production this year is top 3, which is what you are caring about because that’s a lazy argument and you don’t have the mental capacity to clearly understand from a KZbin comment. Not worth my time

@@danlittle447He still has NEVER in been above Jefferson, Hill and Chase. So he has NEVER been Top 3. And if you paid closer attention, you'd see he is not beating his defender as consistently off the line like he did the previous few years. He may get open after the fact, but Hurts is a guy who has to get the ball out of his hand a quick. So if you are covered in that first 3-5 yards, he may never get back to you. Also, I have covered more football, forgotten more football and coached more football than you and your whole family put together so GFY.
