THE DUCKS WERE RAPING AND DROWNING A MOTHER DUCK the goose got territorial and attacked them saving the mother who swam away, then while the goose was attacking one drake the other attempted to molest the goose...I dont know bout anyone else but I'm on the gooses side in this one and i own ducks!

yeah in this case it is violent sexuality what it felt. The second mallard wasn't loyal or concerned about his fellow rapist. It was horny and got even hornier seeing the goose being busy drowning his buddy. When the goose tried to drown the other Mallard the second Mallard tried to fuck the goose. It took me a second to understand. The duck being drowned was in a duo and they were trying to sexually assault the mother duck when the goose intervened and attempted to drown one of the would be rapist drakes. Idk if the goose made that connection and judgement through intellect or if it was just dumb luck and trying to kill the duck for something else. But it is poetic justice.

OMG GUYS I KNOW WHAT THE CRAP IS HAPPENING: First off, that goose is a Brown Chinese Goose. I have one. Now, my gooses name is Puck. Puck is very defensive against our male ducks when they try to mate with the female ducks she grew up with. She will literally grab the back of their neck, rip them off the lady ducky, and begin trying to drown them in the dirt on land. I don't stop it cause it serves the bully right. Now like the video and this comment if you're rooting for that brave goose! EDIT: Puck will never, EVER touch and harm a female duck, even when they get aggressive or violent with her. She just wants to bring all male ducks DOWN. Literally.

There's 3 things I need to clarify with those who are terribly ignorant in this video, despite this video being 5 years old. . 1) The bird that you see over there is actually a Chinese Goose, not a Swan, Swans are way larger, plus, the shape of the beak is different. For those who says it's a Swan, please do your research. 2) Drakes (male ducks), are known to be violent during the mating process, and it's common in many species of ducks. They are socially organized 'gang rapers' that can get extremely deadly. This is part of their nature, and helping them isn't saying much. 3) Geese are known to be ferocious, and if you get too close, they would aggressively attack you. What the goose is doing here is to protect the female duck by drowning the drake. The goose unintentionally protected the duck.

I've been visiting one a couple times a week at a nearby pond and it always mock charges me in between the bites of food I give him, attacks my dog that's 3 times his size, then yesterday he chased off a mother and her bratty kids. The goose literally busted up in there and kept that female duck from getting killed or raped by those mallards, though probably not intentionally, of course. It's interesting how common rape is in mallards, to the point of killing the females... I believe the ratio of male to females in their species is pretty uneven, so the males who weren't lucky enough to pair up get a bit forceful. Also, fun fact, ducks are one of the few bird species that has a penis!

The goose that intervened (have no idea why it intervened) pulled the Male mallard off of the female and proceeded to keep its head underwater, dragging it away from the female. Then another male mallard went over and started attacking the goose to get it off of the other male.
