Compare to Bahubali, RRR has very less hype in Hindi Belt we can see that in advance booking but i believe word of mouth Will spread and eventually it will be a super hit. But oh boy in southern states madness is at another level

Main problem about the hype in hindi belt is delayed of movie and hype of Kashmir files , so much hindi content is coming in every week include ott and hindi cinema And it will do business on World of mouth My prediction is in hindi belt , it will do the business more than Bahubali 1 but less than Bahubali 2 (If attack movie turn out to be a good movie , profit share will split between the two movie) So RRR movie only have 1 week to score Big collections in hindi )

RRR is not just a movie, its a story expressed through artworks. Its so beautiful that it defies the gloom filled stereotype of freedom fighting flicks. Here the total freedom fighting episode is celebrated as it was for real during colonial times. The epic moment came when at last the characters donned the customes of their real life inspiration, Ram and Bheema looked exactly like the live statues of freedom fighters they represent.

To all the northies who found it illogical, it still earned 1000+ cr not because audience is dumb it's because of the build up and the execution of the scene, things might be illogical but were fun to watch and movie heavily appealed for a massy audience and no ones gonna cheer for a logical action Some movies are meant to be for cinematic experience RRR won't be same fun in small screens

Bro its not the northies whose asses are on fire from this movie's success. Its the communists and islamists who have panicked that movies which have hindu symbolism and don't deingrate hindu culture but rather glorify them are becoming box office super hits while the khan gang anti hindu movies are in limbo. In the coming time their asses will burn even more. South, specifically telugu movies are doing an excellent job at portraying our true culture and we nationalists and sanathanis really appreciate what you are doing. An unfortunately for them we nationalists are the majority PS: Till their white masters give them biscuits asking them to bark its praise, they are going to criticize them.

Also in the movie's world if it was established that someone is powerful then consistency is in maintaining that character is powerful throughout. These white guy coolies suddenly awaken the documentary connoiseur in them whenever they see any Indian movie. If in the begining there was not establishment of the fact that these characters are way more powerful and skilled than the averae guy then their arguments would have held water. But unfortunately for them rajamoul established the characters and their strengths in the begining extremely well.

Bro iam from north and I love the movie more than any other Indian movie....even better than Bahubali....The problem is North audience especially youngsters are highly immature....they want cool crime based movies with cool dialogues and looks like KGF.....they don't understand the depth of RRR....but after watching the reaction of this movie in USA and Europe many people have realised their mistake and there is some change in attitude here

So? RRR truly set benchmarks in terms of storytelling and world building in Indian Cinema. I am not saying KGF was a brainless film or bad film, infact I am a huge fan of Yash and Prashant Neel. The thing is RRR does not do anything unique/different than other mass films of India, but how SS Rajamouli presents the elements of mass in it, is different and appealing to the audience. And the rest things such as illogical action, 1 man beating 100s etc. are part of SSR and many other director's films, you can't complain about those these in a full on masala movie. Similar things apply for KGF franchise, everybody knows Adheera cannot hold the entire bridge with so many vehicles with only his hands..but we still love Adheera and Rocky because we feel connected to the characters.

With the budget of 400 crore vfx was pretty bad , if we compare it to Bahubali which was half of its budget it's doesn't look appealing maybe the vfx co. doesn't have the experience should have gone for red chillies( probably the indias best vfx co)

There is a issue with statement of comparing RRR with Marvel and DC movies. Those are out and out superhero movies and from 1st frame it is established as a superhero movie. In RRR its not the case, the heroes are shown like normal people with some OTT abilities which is established at the beginning of movie but 2nd half of movie almost showcase like another movie.

On topic of unbelievable fiction made in Hindi cinema. Some references are more cultural and niche. For ex. A Mexican telenovela done in Hollywood could only do justice if the cast was heavily Latino ie Jane the Virgin. Imagine it any other way, you can't because it's not about expertise of film making. Too much over the top illogical action is a deal breaker for some people it all comes down to the type of character it's been established as in the movie or a series is he a human, a demi god, a super hero? We don't want John wick flying around and shooting lazers from his eyes and can't expect Superman to wear an Italian suit, running and shooting down people. Establishing the characteristics and staying consistent throughout is the key and ofcourse the quality of the presentation.

TBH, S.S. Rajamouli is the only South Director IMO who is consistent in executing the actual concepts on paper. His big-budget films may have some outlandish action sequences but he always backs them up with great story, dialogues, visuals and cinematography.
