to be honest I don't remember. I believe yes, but I don't really use them like that personally.

The battery life is crazy. Probably it's biggest selling point.

I agree, I haven't seen any other with that kind of battery life. I was thinking I could use it for hiking too.

Can you change the unit from metric to imperial or dose it only read in metric
