Those cabbage just firm and lush green.cabbage can go with so many things, saltfish, corn beef,tin mackerel, curry or brown stew chicken,stir fry,season rice,mix vegetables.sandwiches etc.

Farmer girl Jessie ,you may need to seriously think about the future.I think you should seek partnership to get into agro processing.This means you can put added value to your produce, longer shelf life, wider market, more stability of income,higher returns and increased returns. Had to comment about the potato leaves. I cooked it with salt fish carrots etc just like I would callaloo and it was delish. It is actually very mild, very tender not bitter at all. I will buy it again.🇯🇲

God is good you are blessed. Give God thanks so that He will continue to guide, provide and bless your farm. I am so proud of the female farmers in Jamaica. The government needs to invest in them. Train them to use tractors and give them tractors as a start to say the least. I would buy some of the potatoes and cabbage from her now.

She needs to harvest rain water by making a shed or a water catchment at the highest spot and fill those drums with rain water. It is free water and good for the plants Also, build a small pond at the highest point to catch rain water and let it feed the soil slowly

That's the thing with Jamaica. My country, our food vegetables, fruits, are very much Organic, but the Minister of Agricultural not helping or doing nothing to uplifted these hard working women's and men's farmers in Jamaica. Help them get export for there products. And also it is full time we find different ways to build production and manufacture for small Farmers.
