The words (镇山) pronounced as Zhenshan means protecting the mountain which of course is talking about Song Mountain where Shaolin Temple is located. Shaolin Mountain Cordon Staff already has few hundreds years of history. And due to the long history and vicissitudes, it has been inherited and listed as a Traditional Cultural Heritage, which has been sealed for a long time and is precious. This Staff techniques is very diverse which included the method of pick, cut, seal, press, axe, hit, sweep, split and many others. It is one of the popular and symbolic performance that represents Shaolin Temple.
