Thank you so much for this! I loved Yuan Shanjian’s character in this series, his purity and integrity. How he doesn’t become bad or dishonorable from heart ache but instead becomes a better person. It was a pleasure to see him learn to love and become a complete person. The actor was superb as him, it felt like such a natural and effortless embodiment.
