This was so high quality, both the book and the reading.

This video always amazes me. I'm playing a Skyrim dnd campaign, and i feel like a cheater being a Skyrim nerd, but next time we are sitting at a campfire i will read this book to them in game. Half of the players never played Skyrim, or any elder scrolls games. So me, another player, and the DM are familiar with the lore, and two who aren't familiar at all. I think reading a book or two will help them understand more. Also interested in sharing immortal blood with them too

"When thou enterest into Oblivion, Oblivion entereth into thee." -- Nai Tyrol-Llar "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." -- Friedrich Nietzsche. (Beyond Good and Evil) OMG The most I play this game, most I get impressed about the effort, research and care they putted into the minimal details. This is one of my favourite books in the game.

It really is amazing! And agreed, definitely one of the best books in the game!!

The problem is that this was never executed in the game. Oblivion is just another dimension like the hell in doom but it never feels so terrifying like it is described in the book

Great story! Makes me appreciate the detail put into the elder scroll games.

It's the small details that make the Elder Scrolls games and worlds so fantastic!

I remember not thinking much of skyrim before its release. I was use to games like diablo 1 & 2, baldur's gate and champions of norrath. I probably wouldn't have ever played it but I got it for Christmas. I almost traded it in without opening it but I played it. Fastforeward 1 hour of gameplay and I'd have killed anyone for even ejecting it from my ps3 lol. I'm exaggerating of course but not much

Got here from Pandora. The experience is vastly better here. I love the idea of turning the in-game books into audiobooks/radio plays, and I'm glad people with obvious passion and talent are doing it!

cut the first 15 seconds of this because it's just useless sounds
@ShapelessMedia4 жыл бұрын
It's setting up the listener for this story to be told to them. It sets a mood and a place. without the ambience and setting, this is just someone reading a book. the first 15 seconds creates an atmosphere, and let's the listener know that this video/podcast/audiobook is going to do everything it can to transport them inside the words on the page.
@monkeyboy10754 жыл бұрын
@@ShapelessMedia yes but it's annoying sounds, if you ever use audible audiobooks they don't do this setup. I'm purely looking for the information of the book while I'm doing other stuff. I'm looking for how soon can I hear someone reading and how good is their voice
