V1.2 - The Wires Update has bee released!! This a playthrough of the game so we can discover the new features as a new arrival to the game would.
In this Episode we take our first look at the tools the wires update gives us, and we learn how to completely analyze a shape with those tools, hopefully with the goal of making a factory that will automatically create copies of that shape.
Check out this video for more details on how to solve the Level 26/Tier VIII Shape!

I understanding the theory/logic of coding, but was totally lost when actually provided the chance to implement the concepts in this "Coding For Dummies" interface. I can tell your explanation of the master machine is going to be insanely helpful in wrapping my head around the nitty-gritty of these functions

Your videos are better than the official tutorial videos of this game (without belittling the work of the other guy who made those tutorial videos), they're infinitely easier to understand -at least for a non-English speaker like me- and put into practice. Good work.

This is a great video! I've seen people who talk about what the different functions are in wires but I always said so what? Now I know this is something that I might be actually able to use. Thank you very much.

Thank you! that's good to hear! Hopefully I can follow through and provide a good automated machine design with this info.... it's in my head....sort of lol...more to follow!

Dude thank you! Your the only one talking about wires that I can understand. Yes I know the person that made the game has tutorials but he doesn't show examples like you do and doesn't clarify what it means in Laymen's terms (not sure if I spelled that right)

Awesome! So glad this helped.... I'm not sure I understand it all myself, but I think I understand enough to be dangerous lol.... we'll see what happens in the future! More to follow, no doubt...

good video, a lot of logic is not needed for everything to function correctly, it is very simple and the basic part of the logic is the same as in your video, the most space is occupied by the infrastructure in four layers in four parts, I built this plant a week ago, but too far from the hub, very far away and now I'm copying closer to the hub (sorry for google translate, i hope it's translate correctly what i mean) Like :)

The compass shape isn't so bad actually, the prep work that goes into making the two halves of the red compass needle is the most complicated part. Then the white circle has to be joined to the lower half of the needle before being joined to the upper half. Otherwise the white circle won't be the right size. Similarly the completed needle needs to be joined to the right half of the blue and grey base before being joined to the left half. Having figured this out i was able to build an assembly line that produces 60 per second on 4 conveyor lines.

6:54... An SCR will latch in an on-state regardless of the Base input signal state after it is triggered so I think the “=“ Transistor function is the correct terminology for the way it works... On/Off is state is directly linked to the input.

Thank you so much for this. I watched the instructions video from the game and it just left me more confused. I have just started a new play through so I can clear everything off and build a machine...... but I’m still very confused, partly on how the wires interact with the main layer!.?!?

Im actually messing with that myself, and in the next few days I hope to have a video on it. In the meantime, you might notice that a lot of devices are visible on both layers, but only the wires view makes visible the connections where the wires attach to that device.

I set up one of these in my game and mine is showing something different than yours. On the virtual on Stacker it shows no color on the one side and also on yours there's a little red mark in the upper right-hand corner which does not appear on mine. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks for your help!

a 20 minutes video to get detail about a shape, clicking the little "i" provide same information, effortless. I guess wires purpose can be something else, I expected to get such information.

to each his own, as they say! so go ahead and use the i to assemble the shape as you would with any other shape and see what happens.
