Bronny doesn't really know, and never will know, where he actually would have been drafted. He didn't look very excited to me. Looked like he was in his head. I could see this going south. At some point, every man doesn't want his dad controlling his life. If Bronny wanted this 100% then I think it's all good. If he had no say... he has to feel like he's only in the NBA, AT ALL, because of his father.
@markkostka68976 ай бұрын
You already said it. Bronny acted like that because he didn't have any choice in it. His dad is about to retire and wanted his 2 ppg son to play with him and didn't care at all what Bronny wanted. It's already gone south. After LeFlop retires Bronny may have a chance to turn it around, but with the odds against him for sure.

@@markkostka6897 The records argument at this point is kinda irrelevant considering the fact that Indiana is ranked #8 & Chicago is ranked #9. Not to mention Indiana has played 3 more games than Chicago so far w/ Chicago only a game back in the loss column. So yea I’d say it’s a strong possibility.

I respect everything that Shaq said about Bronny, and I agree, Bronny should only be judged by his talent and how that helps the Lakers and the NBA, separate from the greatness of his father. BUT.. in this real world we live in, we should all know it doesn't work like that. No matter what anyone's opinion is it's not going to work like that. I just hope they are preparing Bronny for the energy that he will receive, negative and positive. Rather we like it or not, the fact that he was drafted by the team his father plays for feeds the "you only made it because of your daddy" (flawed) energy. Unfortunately, Bronny is going to have to do so much more than LeBron or any of his peers in order to earn his respect from the critiques. Or him and those who chose to support him can just ignore it and just enjoy what Bronny brings to the game. It just is what it is.

One of them is going to be in the draft in the coming years (even though he is older than Bronny), the other has a bad injury history and is MUCH older than Bronny already. Obviously if Shaq had worked like LeBron, and been dominant for 21 years, he would be the greatest ever, easily have the 6-9 rings, and his son would get drafted to his team so that they could be reunited. Now of course, it is much harder for a center to play that long but Shaq also shortened his prime due to his behavior and habits, that is on him.
