I agree. For me Boston just needs a person with the same idea of love like him, cause some people are just unable to commit to one person.. and that's why his feelings for Nick alone weren't enough to keep them together. Nick looks for an exclusive relationship physically and emotionally. Personally, I liked their ending. It was fitting and both of them learnt more about themselves..

I don't get why people think the writers gave up on Boston's character, he's more realistic in the sense that some people just aren't good people and inherently selfish regardless of the chances they are given. Boston being serial hookup type of guy wasn't going to change cause deep down he doesn't want to at this point, maybe Nick actually moving on will change something in him who knows

My stance with TopMew changed drastically from the starting eps where I was basically team “Mew kick Top’s a$$ to the curb” and now I’m team “Yes to second chances for genuinely apologetic ppl” .. cause what came out of that second chance was a very mature & healthy relationship where both parties communicate well and respect each other’s boundaries ❤

I was cool with the way that Ray handled Boeing and Sand.. He opened Sands eyes to Bowen's intentions and exposed him for who he really was and what his intentions were upon meeting him again.. Ray could have just went over there and just started beating Boeing up and causing a scene with Sand. Instead he did it a different way and exposed Boeing and let Sand see everything for himself. I was proud of Ray for that. I also like the fact that the friends were all together and talking about it and Mew was able to help him with exposing Boeing to Sand. That's definitely what your friends are for..Oh yeah and I also think Ray having a conversation with Sand's mom helped him to understand Sands personality a lot better. Which is the reason he handled Boeing and Sand the way he did.. I Loved it ❤

thx for sharing this POV. I didn't love it, I know it wasn't about love or even desire and i love how Sand doesn't crumble or cry and cut Ray out completely but talked about what was happening. I have not even watched it through (while I've rewatched SandRay's love story at least a few times) but this helps me hate it less...😬

JoJo is amazing for putting this series together. This is a really great show. The character development, the realism, the drama I enjoyed it all. All different endings for a single or couple, too. Boeing fails to interfere in relationships, knowing it won't happen. Mew made Top a better person and they are willing to work things out with each other again or as they say..step by step (If you know, you know). Sand and Ray hold each other down, and whatever works for them, we're hoping for the best. Ray changed because of Sand. Boston and Nick... either they separate or end up together is either or. But Nick has grown up and wants to love himself more. Boston is Boston. I'm not surprised with the friendship with him being broken, but at least it's taken as a lesson learn experience. The way this ended as an opening makes me wonder if Season 2 will happen. Possibly with new characters and new plot? Who knows. Overall, amazing show! 👏🏼👏🏼

This is genuinely the most heartwarming thing Ive watched in a while. I didnt go in expecting much-cuz well thai bls and fwb situations usually jurn lead to low substance high in soft corn variety stuff. But this was soooo good. The frienships, perosnalities and character arcs were very realistic and I could legit feel everything that the characters felt. Boston not changing was on my cards since when he was first introduced. I also kinda understood from the moment Nick broke down over Boston that he needed the self love arc and any redemption in this sense wasnt gonna work for either of them. Im glad to be proved wrong about Top tho-he came in very cocky and its nice to see him humbled. Cheum and April were such a pleasant surprise-I just hoped to see more of them. Yo and Plug were a really welcome side couple and they shined in their moments, and actually added to the whole theme. Sandray def stole the show for me, I dont think Ive been as invested in any drama relationship. Overall, loved it. Cant wait to see what they manage to cook up for the next reason ( if its coming that is).

I love what they did with Boston’s character, I was screaming at Nick to freakin wake up because nobody changes that quickly. You have to put in the work…also the way Boston kept telling Nick how he was the only one he was sleeping with last episode was rubbing me the wrong way, he was placating him. Even when asked him to be his boyfriend it just felt not genuine.

What a roller coaster of a show. Have to say I think the writers did a good job with all the characters. There was a lot of growth and development and it shows that people are messy. Not everything is fairytale perfect but that is life. I would love to see you two react to "Kiseki: Dear to me". Its a Taiwan produced Bl and the two couples are great with unique dynamics and great chemistry. Can't wait to see what you do next :)

I was so happy that Nick didn’t take him back and that he went on a self love journey and IF we do get a season 2, I hope he gives Daddy Dan a chance.

Shaqii and Mom, I Loved watching this series with you! So sad it is done! As usual Shaqii's mom was throwing FACTS and WISDOM ALL THROUGHOUT THE REACTION!!! Gonna miss this series! The ending was a great one that is aligned with GMMTVs norms and the character's attitudes all season. The show and acting and storyline were great. I also loved that they addressed many issues and the fact that the story was "REALISTIC". Really enjoyed watching it!

Bcs, like, i was really confused those ppl saying: a)when top trying to make up by doing some attempt while trying to respect mew boundary=he is doing a bare minimum b)when top slighty more actively pursuing mew=he was on mew face, he is being creep Then can yall tell me what should he do??? Skipping to *February 2024* and Mix entering giving those flirting glares to Mew suggesting new drama, definitly felt like a tease for a season 2. But we'll see 🙏 First of all, *thank you* for a great ride! I've had the best time in your company with this show. We've had fun, we've been sad, we've been thirsty, we've been angry - Only Friends really covered all levels of emotions! Top notch 🏆 My final thoughts on... *Sand and Ray* : I am not sure how I feel about their happy ending. I completly understand what Ray was trying to do, challenging Sand in the pool, especially after realising that the dream he shares with Sand origianally was Sand's dream with Boeing. He must feel like a stand in. So I like that he stood his ground, telling Sand that he needed him to chose between keeping him or keeping Boeing around. And I'm glad Sand realised that there was a difference in his feelings, Boeing was the past and Ray the future. But I am concerned and annoyed by how the story is treating Ray's rehab and recovery. I was so happy to hear Sand say that he should quit the bar and stop making booze, because that is the reality of life with an alcoholic, you have to make change to. It may seem unfair, but it is necessarry. So I have been waiting to see Sand make that adjustment and sacrifice. But 2 minutes later the story back tracks when Ray tries to convince Sand to continue. And while it is true, that Ray is gonna face temptation everywhere - his partner really shouldn't be the one to facilitate that temptation. But tbh I think there might be an unspoken issue. Sand's mom knew that Sand was hiding somewhere quiet drinking alone, which means, Sand has a MO of using alchol to cope with things. And that's the definition of an alcoholic. So despite the fact that he keeps telling Ray, that he doesn't have a problem, I'm not exactly sure if that's actually true. I think he does. Maybe not to the same extent as Ray, but a problem nonetheless! So I feel like there is still a lot of stories left to be told about the two. They may seem "set" now, but there's still a lot of potential darkness that could come their way! Which is why they make me feel uneasy! *Top and Mew* : Top deserved forgiveness because he actually redeemed himself. Period! Besides the fact, that I think moving in so quickly after such a big breach of trust is a bad idea, I liked that they actually spend a fair amount of time and enegery aligning their expectations. That bodes well for the future, and so I feel like they are in a much more secure state than RaySand. All though I didn't like it when Top referred to Mew as his new "sleeping pill". I think it's ment to be a cute thing, but it is also essentially how he perceived Boeing, and being treated that way, made Boeing feel like crap. So I hope Top doesn't repeat that mistake! I really have no idea what the fire was about though, because it didn't really add any new character development. Other than we saw Top dealing with the situation responsably and not panicking, which suggest growth and him overcoming the trauma maybe? For me it felt more like the narrative of romaticising that *love fixed the problem*, a classic BL trope. *Boston and Nick* : I am so happy that Nick finally decided to move on. And that he actually decided to close the door to Boston completly this time around, not like the last time, where he found him by the pool a few days later. In some ways I wish we would have gotten a happy ending for him and Daddy-Dan, because Hello Daddy (!), but truthfully he needs to take some time for self-love and to find value in himself, before diving into a new relationship. He still has a long way to go, because even at the end there, he is still in the mindset of blaming himself and apologising for who he is. Boston. Boston, Boston, Boston.... What are we gonna do with you? First of all, hats of to Neo! He has really done an amazing job. His growth as an actor taking on a character like this has really surprised me. I did not see that coming. He's always been the type cast for comic relief - but this really puts him on the map! But at the same time, the writing and "framing" of Boston is probably also the one that frustrates me the most. Because it feels half hearted. Like they didn't dare to take the plunge with him, to go all the way, and so they left him incoherent. I think they did the character a disservice, because it doesn't seem like they made up their mind about if he's someone looking for a polyamerous relationship, an open relationship or if he's actually just a pr*ck. I honestly think, that Boston is neither of the 3. I firmly believe that Boston has a dissocial personality disorder, like a pshychopath. He shares all of the tell-signs and characteristics of one: He is very charming, but highly manipulative. He is very self absorbed and assertive. He has a minimal amount of empathy, and doesn't care how his actions affect others. He doesn't care about other peoples feelings and he doesn't take responsability of his actions - instead he tries to manipulate or gaslight others around him to submit to his way of thinking. He doesn't know how to create substainable relationships, and he also has a very high sexual drive/boardering on a sex addict. He doesn't know basic social cues, and he doesn't take social norm into consideration in the choices he makes. And he has a lack of emotional understanding for other peoples perspective and so he doesn't even understand or realise that his words are hurtful. And with that in mind, there really is no redemption for Boston, because he can't change. It's not a question of wanting to change, he doesn't have the ability. He can "play" the role for a while, but it will never stick, because he isn't capeable. Even at the end there, he still doesn't understand the correlation between his actions, his lack of remorse and his friends not forgiving him and he reverts to the exact same manipulative gaslighting of Nick, trying to squeeze himself out if taking accountability. *Thoughts unrelated to the 3 main couples* : I really wish we would have gotten more of the lesbians, they were almost non existent. Also, I wanted to see more of Yo and Plug's storyline, especially if they had dared to go into the transsexual experience - that would have been ground breaking! *Lastly* , I had very high expectations for this show. I think they started out trying to shake things up, to avoid the usual tropes and propose a new BL narrative. And to some extent, they succeded with that. But along the way, they also dropped the balls on a few of the heavyer topics, which was a bit dissapointing. But with 3 main couples, 2 side couples and 3 side characters with defining plot lines, I understand that there wasn't time to develop everything in 12 episodes. And at the end of the day, this is still a BL, and I so there's an inherent expectation that the established couples will have a happy ending. At times we may have felt like non of them should really be together, but tbh if that had been the case, we would probably have been very dissapointed. Because the main draw of a BL is the Boys Love Story! 💟

Me and Mommy think the same way because my exact statements were made by her during break of #2 going into #3. So no need to express that. I yelled when I saw ThickMix too! Sand and Ray I understood Ray and what he was doing in the first scene and by pressing that issue it helped Sand understand. Would love a season 2 but don’t think they may go there. Maybe a special episode and Cheum and April get married at the Hostel. I hope Daddy Dan still likes Nick and Nick can establish something with him since they have already “done” it…great series full of Oh sh$t moments..oh yeah the comment about Top..Top sincerely made an effect to redeem so saying he did bear minimum or he’s over the top..He made the effort to show his action of im sorry..forgiving Boston he was my friends for a long time knowing my life and my beliefs. You introduced me to this man knowing you had sex with and knowing his personality that was a red flag but I did end up with him and jealousy came in picture and you hurt me. You hurt me on purpose so I would forgive you to release my burden of that pain but I couldn’t look at you without feeling that pain. I forgive Top but he was willing to regain my trust and respect but it will take time to get back to that level we once was.

Shaqi and his mama are back This episode had a great ending glad that mew and top finally patched things up with each other and talking things out before they moved in with each other and also sand and ray also patched things up by talking to Boeing that they are couple and telling him to leave them alone and to not be involved with sand since ray was his boyfriend but also the whole pool scene with ray sand Boeing they just all ended up kissing each other those I was shook when Boeing and ray kisses I said damn what the hell is going on here and also Boston and Nick they are a different story because Boston’s will never change he went back to his old self and kisses Boeing and Nick saw but didn’t say anything but told him that he is one thing and another thing right behind his back and also he said I need to love myself first and care about myself first before he gets into a relationship with anybody I said yes honey you come first Boston he will find new men wherever he is he won’t change and also everybody was happy in the end but also yo and her boyfriend are also happy and also they finally opened up their hostage that they have been working on and also mixx is here that came to the hostage he looks like he’s about to cause trouble with the couples that were there I hope we get a season 2 because mixx just showed up also thanks for these amazing 12 weeks beautiful mama and shaqi

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and my opinion on Top doing the “bare minimum” hasn’t changed. However, my issue with Top doing the “bare minimum” wasn’t that the effort wasn’t being given it was that everything he did came with an expectation and when Mew didn’t respond the way he wanted his choice of words came off as manipulative and took away the act simply being a genuine gesture. My issue wasn’t the character because I admit he was trying to make up for his actions (I refuse to say make up for his mistake because that’s not how I see it) it was the writings I had an issue with. With that being said, their conversation in the bathtub was what was missing this entire time.

ok so im going to assume there is a season two coming. any spoilers? if there is they should show us a broken, dramatized boston locked in a basement in new york, because he crossed the wrong person, being a manwhore. and his dad finds out which messes up his running for office. nick will have moved on and is engaged, but gets a phone call from ton. then everyone gets involved for like 4 out of 15 episodes this time. and since mix is here, when the gang gets back we find out mix slept with ton before as well. but mix wants revenge. there could be lots more material for the series. hats off to jojo for an awesome series 🥳

The last few episodes cost this show points for me. All of the characters in this friend group contribute to the problems they have, yet they seem to hold Boston to a different standard. Boston's not innocent, but neither are the rest of them. I didn't like this expectation that Boston needed to apologize but they didn't , especially with how they treated Boston with the Atom situation. Those were serious accusations made. It deserved more than just "I'm sorry I slapped you." That being said, people are like that: they treat people differently who don't think or conduct themselves in the same manner. I do have a lot of opinions about the characters in this show that could take all day to list. They're all layered and flawed, Ray especially. That's really what makes the show as good as it is. None of them are saints and all capable pf soing something wrong, etc. That part I liked.

This is probably gonna be long, but I have to get this off my chest. I don't like the way the show handled Boston's charcter, especiallly in this last episode. Let me jut say that a lot of what happened to Boston, he brought upon himself. He 100% deserved to get iced out of the friend group after sleeping with Top because he was so unremorseful about it. And even with Nick, the reason why he end up alone was becuase of his on behavior. However, I do the that the friend group uses Boston as a scapegoat and a punching bag.They love to call Boston out on his behavior and let's be honest, a lot of that is slut shaming him. But they don't call Ray out on his antics. For example Ray doesn't get called out for how he treated Sand at the Halloween party, he doesn't get called out for introduced Mew to drugs and he gets a slap of the wrist for cheating on him. I have to call Jojo out a bit because in an interview he said that Boston doesn't have a backstory because sometimes bad people don't need an explaination for what they do. And I'm thinking how is Boston worse than any other character. This episode really cemented that they really wanted Boston to be the villian after all because look at the final scene where he's gone and everyone is all happy together. Almost to say that they ere all better off without him

Ray never changed for the better in my opinion. That bullshit in the pool was incredibly toxic, manipulative and hurtful to Sand. He stopped drinking but in real life if I knew someone like Ray I would think of him as being at high risk for relapse because he's still emotionally immature with poor boundaries. And if I knew someone like Sand I'd tell him to get therapy for himself because he's going to need support to not spiral down into a bad situation with Ray. Mama saying "That's just normal Ray" cracked me up with the accuracy. Boston imo got the right ending. Not because he likes to sleep with a lot of men but because of his lies, manipulation and selfish behavior. Being in a poly relationship is a reasonable choice but you have to communicate with all your partners and reach an agreement on boundaries and Boston did not do that. Maybe in NY away from his messy friends he'll dive into his photography and develop healthier relationships even if he's still polyamorous. I love that Nick got to make an "I choose me" speech, good for him. Top & Mew got their happy ending but it was a bit of a snooze. Oh well, simple happiness isn't as exciting as toxicity. Also, who believes that those fools kept their shit together long enough to run a real business together, please 🤣

Love this comment and I agree with everything. I love Ray so much and he's my favorite character so seeing him in the finale getting little to no development was so dissapointing. They should have never done the stupid fucking Boeing storyline and instead should've done the rehab/therapy storyline and show how he changed and REAL CONSEQUENCES. Because for me therapy and facing his trauma were the only real consequences he needed to change his behavior and make amends. The way they went about his character was just so underwhelming and the way they dropped arguably the most important nuanced story in the whole show (his addiction and trauma) like is nothing is beyond me. They could've made a real impact and he would've went down as one of the best written/complex characters in any BL ever but nooo. ugh I'm annoyed lol. I could go on an entire rant on how the failed his character and by proxy Sands and his relationship with him but I ain't doing all that on a KZbin comment. I still love him and I'm glad he has his happy ending but damn... Boston got the right ending 100% idk how tf are ppl disagreeing on that. Like the show never said that he would end up alone for sleeping around he ended up alone bc he's a bad person. I think people forgot in the span of three episodes everything that happened prior. BOSTON IS A BAD PERSON!!. He's cruel, manipulative, he's amused by seeing other people in pain and he feels no remorse or regret for anything he's done. Feeling sad bc he lost everything and everyone is not the same as feeling remorse. And even Nick let him go gently and told him not to blame himself or change his view of love he just told him he chose himself and to have a good life. And don't get me wrong I LOVE Boston but he wasn't going to change in 2 episodes like bffr. Top and Mew HAVE ALWAYS been a snooze fest loooll. I actually only really enjoyed their scenes in this episode jajaj but still the weakest couple and actors on the show. That hostel is dissolving in three months😂 aint no way is gonna succeed

I enjoyed this show because it gave a real life spin on the characters. They weren't the perfect "cookie cutter" characters. These characters had dimensions. You couldn't say this character is the good one or bad. They all had flaws, and the show didn't have the lets fix all the problems ending, just like real life.

I actually feel like Boston longs for a proper relationship, he just doesn't know how to have one. He doesn't know how to be a proper partner or a proper friend. I think it has something to do with how he was raised, maybe because of his dad? They should have gone deeper into that. I also wish that Boston would have just been honest about why he tricked Top into sleeping with him, it was not just because of desire, it was obvious that he liked Top more than just as a hook-up. I wish he would've just told the truth about liking Top and being jealous that Top wanted a relationship with Mew, but he instead gave some flimsy excuse and expected Mew to just accept that and forgive him?

Firstly- I had the same reaction to the pool scene. Secondly, when Boeing called Sand a dog... total missed opportunity to say "hey at least dogs are loyal so when I'm dating, yea, I'm a fiercely loyal dog unlike you." Third, I literally hated Ton with a passion when he said "boyfriends are about feelings, not physical things"... like I couldnt believe I could hate a character more than in that statement as someone personally who's been cheated on in every relationship (35 almost now and havent dated since 2018 and too scared to at this point bc of stupid ppl like Ton). Like no, he doesnt have to accept being treated like shit by your gaslighting ways Ton. Stfu. I wanted to smack Ton so hard across the face during that scene. It also reminded me though how great of an actor Neo is though because his The Eclipse character is such a 180° difference to Ton. Neo plays both rolls so well enough that I hate Ton with a passion lol Next, I feel like sometimes a change in environment can really help you grow as a person. Its like a fresh start to really learn about yourself. I purposely left 2 hours away for college- yes bc I loved the campus and available programs of interest but also for two other reasons. 1. because my mom and I spent my entire growing up fighting. She'd pick fights and yell and I'd do whatever I could through learned through therapy to de-escalate things. Once she apologized to me in a family therapy sessiom when I was in high school only to take it back on the drive home. I subconsciously cant be around her- even into adulthood when i would be in a car with her, I get so anxious that i get car sick. Going 2 hours away to college was a freeing experience to just live my life for me. And 2. I went far away because i was picked on my whole life for various things from my acne to my weight to being a nerd. Going that far away from the bullying allowed me to learn to love myself also. So while Ton says he's going away because its an opportunity to change but also bc he wants to do photography, I think its fair to say that it could be a liberating experience for him and a chance to learn about himself so I actually think Mew is wrong here in saying basically that going to NY will only change Ton on the outside. He very well could come back a completely different person with a caring and kind heart, but we wont know that unless there's a season 2 which is possible. I'd like to have a side story of Ton finally becoming a better person and falling in love truly Final scene with Nick and Ton, I definitely think Ton needed to head what Nick had to say because perhaps its the catalyst for Ton realizing what he wants, aka bettering himself so he doesnt hurt others anymore and that he doesnt ever wanna be alone. He lost his friends, he lost someone he actually cares about with Nick, all bc of his habits. Do, I think Ton loved Nick, I do but I think he's not at the right place in his life to love properly and fully which is why he thinks its ok to just make out with Boeing despite having been with Nick at the time. I think Ton realizes he's on his own because of all the bs he pulled and thus why he looks at the NY trip as something that's going to help him grow as a person let alone in his photography. I think it was easier for Mew to forgive Top for two reasons. 1. He legitimately loves Top and wanted to forgive. 2. I think he realized that Top was manipulated by Ton and basically didnt blame Top for what happened but rather blamed Ton for the ultimate betrayal. THE WAY I NEED SOME MIX IN THIS MIX OF MESSY LOL

The lesson from this episode is that ppl rarely if not never when they change once a jerk always a jerk its us who fool ourselves by believing that they changed to protect our broken heart and this is what happened to nick he just wanted to be loved but it didn't work bcz he fooled himself by believing boston will be better,for a second I thought boston really did change to a better person at least for nick but he didn't bcz thats the way he is he just can't change out of the blue even nick told him and he was right he really called him out by saying "I think you should quit trying to be someone you're not " and this is so boston character he will never change from that bad boy he is even if he tries it won't last long he will be exposed eventually Lastly nick deserves better as I think he should learn to love himself more cz to love someone you should start by yourself first and this is the missing part in Nick's character he doesn’t love himself bcz if he did he wouldve moved on from boston while ago I was rooting for nick&boston to end up together but boston as usual ruined it all up anyway at least sand&ray worked out also another thing i concluded from this whole show especially the finale that these bunch of ppl are not real friends c'mon we've been known already,the thing between them is that one benifits from the other and that's what brought them together from the first place

I believe Boston cares for Nick. I just think they both need different things in a relationship. I don’t think that’s a bad thing I just think they both had unrealistic expectations of each other. Boston hoped Nick would accept him for who he is and Nick hoped Boston would change for him. Boston didn’t pretend to be something he’s not. However, i do think hooking up with someone at the club while your boyfriend is waiting for you is completely disrespectful. Like Nick was trying to accept Boston but Boston knew it was hard for Nick so he shouldn’t have done that. That was crazy. Anyyyywayyy love this show. I’m sad it’s over.

I liked that Nick chose himself over Boston . But everyone making out Boston to be the worst character in the series is crazy to me !! Like did everyone watch the same thing I watched? every character in the series was flawed. The difference is that Boston got to see the repercussions of his actions. The rest of them didn’t really see repercussions. Literally top and Boston were the only ones that got punished for their actions. I love sand-and ray’s characters but they are also toxic too . Sand spread an audio sex tape and never got in trouble for it . That’s a huge violation of privacy . Top and Boston were assholes but that doesn’t mean Nick had the right to record them and for the rest of them to share the audio. Mew using a sex tape that was recorded without permission to get back at Boston is trash. Mew to me was incredibly toxic , the only difference is that they put a wholesome type personality on Mew so everyone forgets that he is very vindictive. Chuem was a shitty judgemeal friend the whole time. Insisting mew get a boyfriend and telling Boston he is a slut . And I can go on about the characters . I liked the show but I find it interesting how everyone defends and views all the other characters as better people then boston. They all are imperfect and it’s ok . It’s human nature to be imperfect . It’s a show meant to be realistic and it was very realistic because In the real world some people pay for the shit they do and see repercussions and others don’t pay for what they do and get away with the bad shit they do . just doesn’t sit right with me to forget all the wrong everyone else did and only always bash Boston . Let’s be real Boston being messy made the show interesting. I wouldn’t want any of these characters as my friends . Side note I enjoyed seeing your reactions with your mom every week❤️.

Great Series!!! The endings were pretty much how I predicted. I actually think Ton and Nick had a chance but yheir relationship reflects real like, all doesn't end as we dreamed. Honestly love top but this couple (Force and Book) I don't get the chemistry like the other two couples. Even Nick n Daddy Dan have better sizzle but that's just me. Still enjoyed. Now it's wrap!

Mew was the villain in this series! He pretended to be a nice person but he was not. Super vindictive, methodical, two-face, manipulative, and unforgiving. He kept punishing everyone. Top and Boston apologized so many times. At a certain point, you need to get over it and move on. To be honest, he is not all that. Someone like Top caliber can do better than Mew! Mew agrees to date Top, breaks up with him to "start over" and then is stringing him along for months to play the game of seeing if Top would stick around. You can only play games with someone for so long. And then after they were dating and Mew found out what happened, he was doing waaaay too much in my opinion. If I was Top, I'd have cut my losses.
