So, I haven't finished the book yet, but here's how different the beginning is from the series version. In the novel, Sun and Lin do have sex on the first night they meet after talking to each other through online dating. Like the series, Lin doesn't know who Sun is until he and the other introduced to him. Unlike the series, however, all the interns leave and go back to work with Lin not being asked to come to Sun's office until him and the other interns were on their way to lunch. Once inside, Sun apologizes to Lin for not telling him the truth and says he's going on a business trip to Honk Kong and asked Lin if he can go with him since he's announced (not to the interns) he'll be taking one of his workers to assist him. Lin wasn't sure if he should go because he'd only know Sun for one day and didn't want any kind of special treatment because of their one-night stand (Lin is also a virgin in the book, but loses it to Sun that night). Still, Lin ends up changing his mind while he and Sun had sex in Sun's office (initiated by Sun to get Lin to do just that). Sun also asked him if he can date Lin l, which Lin agrees to on the condition that they keep their relationship a secret, which was fine with Sun, as long as he got to see him more outside of work. Lin tells his friends the truth during lunch after they saw the hickey marks on his neck, but made them promise not to say anything to anyone about it, which they agreed. That's as far as I got so far, but comparing this to the show, I'm glad they went in a different direction because there's not a lot of Thai BLs that do a storyline in which the two main characters agree to take it slow, which, to me, makes more sense and more romantic.

I love the book, I finished reading it a week ago. You will be surprised by the ending of it. I read that the brother is going to have a book too. But am not sure when we will get it. It's about Sun's brother and Lins friend.

The guy at the restaurant is an actor who was ML from Starhunter Entertainment most recent series City of Stars which was actually good. He just played a different character.

This episode was actually really cute. It was funny how Lin was just teasing Sun the whole time even though he wasn't mad at him. It's the strip tease for me when Lin was on the phone with his friends and Sun said it was "too hot" Lol. I also can't wait to see the growth with the other upcoming couple of Yo and Sun's brother. I be like..why he so mean to him 😂

You are allowed to be wherever, whenever!! 🤣🤣 All this teasing of what could be. Once they get passed their awkward stage, I better feel like I'm intruding! Also I'm glad the are taking it so & getting to know each other better past their online persona's. Yay!! For more mystical story!
