The season Shaq joined the Celtics, we went to a preseason game... Just the warm-up entertainment was a blast... they let us go down right next to the floor during warm up... It was absolutely amazing. Pierce, Garnett, Ray Allen, Rondo & Shaq... All right there together Although it was just Philadelphia, preseason game... That's the best Celtics game I have ever been to over the decades... It was an honor for Shaq to end his playing career with the Boston Celtics... And I have never been near a man that large in my life and probably will never again. Thx for the memories..

I saw Shaq irl, he was sitting on a bench outside a Ruth's Chris, which was on the ground floor of my office building. I walked by as I left work, and realized he was still as tall as me, and Im 5'7" in low heels. I was like, "Dang, that dude is huge", it didn't dawn on me who it was until I saw on the news the Lakers were in town (Honolulu) for an exhibition game. He is just unrealistically big, it's like your brain has a hard time processing it when you're faced with it, lol.
